Vistaweave is the ideal fabric for external blinds because of its exceptional strength and durability in comparison to the traditional canvas or PVC plastic materials. It is made from PVC coated polyester mesh that provides a level of either 95% or 99% light blockout while still allowing for air flow and moisture transmission through your blinds.... Vistaweave is available in 95% mesh - its see-through, breathable, fire resistant awning fabric, it shades without losing your view. Vistaweave 99% is UV stablized, it offers good levels of privacy (almost blockout) as the fabric weaves are closer together as well as weather protection whilst still allowing some view and air circulation. In the examples below, this style of opening is known as *Tier on Tier* where the shutters are split in half horizontally to create two level of panels or ‘tiers’ one above the other. Similar to vintage saloon doors, Tier on Tier offer a separate top tier that opens independently from the bottom.... They can be used in any position for maximum sun protection/shade and then can be rolled up neatly into a headbox. We are able to install these on 2-storey buildings and can be operated with a long pole. We are able to make Awnings with either a scallop (as shown) or straight valance or even no valance at all depending upon your requirements and preferenc...e.
