Raising awareness is how dancers will learn to put their mental/physical health first, prioritise themselves and speak up The overwhelming amounts of DM’s I’ve received the past 24 hrs has been astounding. The favouritism, body shaming & mind games towards young children, teens & adults needs to stop so dancers can enjoy what they signed up to do: DANCE. 18.01.2022 In a six-step Highland Fling, a dancer will jump vertically 192 times (the equivalent of running a mile) on one foot at a time, while performing complicated and... intricate footwork, and using the muscles from head to toe.
