06.01.2022 Empowered Futures is looking to increase their internal health capabilities by employing a Registered Nurse to join our leadership team. If you know an awesome nurse who has experience in disability and community nursing and is passionate about providing high quality care to a small cohort of people with physical and intellectual disability and complex health care needs please pass this link on to them. We specialise in offering bespoke housing solutions in the corridor from Ipswich to Brisbane's Western suburbs. We have 7 homes and a total cohort of 17 NDIS participants. 04.01.2022 We are looking for a number of new team members to join a new team who are opening two Supported Independent Living homes in the Booval area (Ipswich). House 1 has a brother and sister moving in together. Both have high physical support needs with complex medical supports. The second house has a young lady whom we have been supporting for many years moving in as the anchor tenant with a single vacancy still to be filled. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand new tea...m who will be responsible for setting up a new house. The house is brand new and purpose built for high physical supports. Empowered Futures is a small niche organisation supporting less than 20 participants in all. Last year we delivered over 80,000 hours of support. You will have the opportunity to build a strong relationship with the people you are supporting. You will have regular shifts and be part of a small team who are all equally passionate about the support we provide and the quality of that support. 04.01.2022 This sounds good on face value and will assist people to get out and about Although it still sounds like they will need to trade off hours for kilometers. Would prefer to see and increase to plans. $2.40 per kilometer for a modified vehicle seems good for supporting organizations who have been trying to hold onto their accessible vehicles but again it will eat into a plan quickly.
