23.01.2022 Some of the reasons behind not truly "loving" yourself, is because you could be placing your ideal 'relationship persona' as an expectation on how you should be as a human. The thing about self-love is, we shouldn't be changing ourselves as who we *think* we should be, we should just learn to love *everything* about ourselves. Making the shift from loving ourselves to accepting ourselves just as we are, is a more effective strategy to use. Practicing self-care is an action-or...iented way that we can show ourselves self-love. It means loving all aspects of yourself, by accepting your flaws, your weaknesses, the things you don't always like, and holding high standards for your own well-being and happiness. So, while you should maintain strong boundaries for yourself within your relationships, you should learn to accept all the pros and cons of yourself, that is the true journey to self-love.

SO instead of repressing & shying it away, why not learn how to deal with it. ... Understand, where are you carrying the stress/where is it manifesting? Is it your body? Do you feel it in your muscles, maybe something physical like lip sores or acne? Mind - are your thoughts more heightened than usual? Are you finding it difficult to concentrate or stay focused? 10.01.2022 I have heard and empathized with many parents and caregivers whose children are BURSTING with energy and present with symptoms mirroring ADHD. Although at times many of these parents and caregivers find it difficult to manage their behavior, I wanted to shed some extra insight into why these beautiful bouncy beings are so full of life! Parents and Caregivers, let me remind you that not every child that has loads of energy has ADHD.... There are many ways to support high energy kids using a positive approach to parenting and discipline. For example: Look to teach them regulation skills, ensure you have clear boundaries and guidelines in the household (children love structure!) Seek to understand their energy and motivation (so many children I meet are little empaths and are picking up on the energy of those around them and projecting!) 08.01.2022 I talk to a lot of people who believe their self-worth is tied to their productivity & output. They are stuck on their own little self-imposed wheel of doing, doing, doing occasionally take a break for some ‘downtime’ but it never felt as rewarding as the doing. We are lead to believe [by our parents, media, books, history, movies, etc] that we need to be working or doing something productive to be a useful person in society.... No. You do not have to do anything. You can find your own source of energy to know your worth. To earn on your own time. To create a life you want to live. Find your passion, and make something out of it - when you're ready. If you're not ready? That's fine. Keep sitting back and figuring out all the other stuff first.
