Did you know what it is scientifically proven that a gratitude practice can have a significant positive effect on your life, your emotions and therefore your health and wellbeing..... If you don’t already have a gratitude practice, now is the time to start! ... We have a gratitude jar in our house, and each member of the family writes down something they are grateful for and pops it in the jar. We then can reflect on this at the end of the year, all that we are grateful for this year, putting us in the right frame of mind for the year ahead.... A simple gratitude practice can only take a few minutes during your day. You don’t have to write it down, it can simply be a discussion around the dinner table, reflection before you close your eyes and go to sleep or something you journal. Find what suits you....... 09.01.2022 Yoga is for every body! I came across this image yesterday and it really resonated with me. We see sooo many insta-worthy yogis out there and hey they are amazing but we often forget that yoga is for every body and every body can do it. Sometimes many believe that yoga is only for the flexible and limber......which is very very untrue. As a yoga coach, I believe in empowering every body to embrace the body they have and bring their body, mind and soul into alignment to impro...ve their health and well-being through establishing a yoga practice. If you’ve never done any yoga before, don’t be afraid to reach out to me and together we can create a practice that works for you.

02.01.2022 Did you know meditation can have amazing healing benefits? The reason for this is meditation moves our body and brain into the parasympathetic nervous system (the system responsible for the rest and restoration of your body and cells). It helps to alleviate the production of the stress hormone (cortisol) and lowers blood pressure.... Meditation increases the production of serotonin, the hormone which improves our mood and overall well-being. Meditation also helps to stengthen the immune system and increase energy levels (reducing that feeling of fatigue). As Deepak Chopra said, meditation brings your nervous system into coherence. So basically I’m saying meditation can improve your health and well-being.
