21.01.2022 Nick died tragically 16 years ago. He was full of life, enthusiastic, loving and caring but a dark shadow had crept over his life. His father had left the family for another woman and Nick’s life was turned upside down. He loved and looked up to his dad like any little boy. He spent most of his time with his sister and mother whom he adored but one thing was missing from his life that he so dearly wanted back. Nick wanted to live with his dad for awhile and so his mum made a ...request on his behalf but his dads new girlfriend and his dad decided he was not welcome. Nick was heartbroken. He tried getting his dads attention but to no avail. Nick eventually gave up and entered a period of experimenting with dangerous behaviours and tragically died as a result of one of his misadventures. 13.01.2022 There is a perception that 'letting go of the past' resolves everything and it does, if we follow the correct process. The negative emotions, behaviours and trauma that hold us back need first to be recognised and acknowledged, along with the triggers and bodily reactions, and then the chords that tie the past to us severed. If we don't follow the correct procedure we actually don't let go of anything and the past still remains with us holding us back and giving us grief.
