22.01.2022 This week has reminded me once again how important it is to have an attitude of gratitude! I found myself falling into the pit of grump last week and I made the decision to reframe my thoughts and words and appreciate all the good things I had. The smallest of things to be greatful for have such a powerful effect. I verbally appreciated everything on my drive to work... over and over for the whole trip. Finding gratitude in even the things that piss me off... becasue recogni...sing what pisses me off, gives me the oppotuity to be greatful for the opposite. In this last week, I have observed how my attitude of gratitude has changed our world. I have connected with some beautiful souls. Attracted dream clients. Found passion in new opportunities. Abundance flowing in all aspects and businesses. The perfect reminder that #energyflowswhereenergygoes If we focus on the negativ. The bad & the shiity things life deals us... we attrract the energy that we're fighting against! 10.01.2022 Seven years ago, my whole world changed. It was the night that I got thrown through a wall at 12 weeks pregnant... with my beautiful daughter watching on in fear. I will never forget that look in her eyes. It’s taken me a long time, lots of ups and so many downs to get to the point I am at now.... I am not the same woman I was then. I wouldn’t ever want to be. I was naive. I was ignorant. I am now so much wiser. Stronger. I have grown so much. I am not perfect... and would never want to be. But who I am is pretty damn amazing! I can honestly say now, that I am grateful for that night. It taught me that I can hit rock bottom and keep on fighting. It taught me that no matter what, trust my intuition, and believe that I am worthy of more... never to settle. It’s taught me that I am capable and can do ANYTHING I set my mind to. It set me on my path... and even though I am still taking baby steps to figure out exactly what that looks like... it gave me the choices that I have now. 7 years of fighting to be more... only to realise that I was more all along. Now my fight is to help my girl live her best life. She is so strong. She is so amazing. And she is making beautiful leaps to break free from the fear, trauma & pain that’s held her for so long. For goal is to help her see her magnificence and to know that no one can take that away unless she chooses. We live in a society where domestic violence is too prevalent. Justice is rarely done. And good people are often wrongly accused of being the offender, when often they’re the victim. The conversations have started... but people are still too scared to stand up and make a change. I guarantee you... right now, you know someone who is in a DV relationship. That person that just popped into your mind... have you done anything to help? Changing DV starts with us. Each individual one of us. WE must be the change we want to see. Let’s stop the cycle. Let’s help the victims. Let’s change the conversation around this. Men AND women suffer at the hands of abusers. Domestic violence isn’t just a bruise. It isn’t just a broken bone! It shouldn’t be taboo to talk about. It shouldn’t be normalised. This should be screamed from rooftops and changed in laws. We shouldn’t sit back, when another person is killed, and say ‘Oh I knew that would happen’ but not have stood up and done anything! Will you be part of the change? Or part of the problem?
