25.01.2022 Pictured here is one of our larger indoor plants, Ctenanthe 'Grey Star'. It has silver-green leaves with a stunning deep purple underside and makes for a beautiful statement plant indoors. These ones are a decent size, and priced at only $35 they won't last long! Planters and rustic buckets available separately.

25.01.2022 Norna Morphett, the last remaining Morphett in residence in Clarendon, lived until her 90's in 'Toondilla'. She was our next door neighbour for over 20 years and was like an extra Grandmother figure in our lives. She saw Emily and Thomas grow up, and watched with interest as Pru and Des restored the Emprades building, a building that also once belonged to the Morphett family. She was an avid gardener, and gave Pru some Japanese Windflower (Japanese Anemone) plants that still ...flower around every Easter. They are a special flower as they remind us of dear old Mrs Morphett. Shown here we have an antique porcelain cake plate set with the very same blooms. There are 8 plates and a tiered cake plate that we made with the spares. Each flower is hand painted and unique. It is in beautiful condition and dates to c.1880! It is available for $155 and is a beautiful way to serve your hot cross buns! See more

24.01.2022 Oh my goodness we have just picked up many more of these gorgeous hand crafted 3 chain hanging planters. We sold out earlier and have been able to grab the last of them available at present so don't leave it too long if you want one. We have placed pots inside them. They are not suitable to plant directly in as they have no drainage holes but this keeps the decking or area dry beneath after watering. The plants just love them as they don't dry out from the wind. Each is a unique piece.

23.01.2022 Buckets, buckets and more buckets!!! Rustic galv and iron buckets with sturdy old handles made from old materials and components. Each is hand crafted and unique although similar. Some have hooks to the bucket or to the handle. All the handles are strong and well secured. Great to display plants. All $75 each.

16.01.2022 The lengths we go to for a good photo! Photographing art work without reflections can be tricky... good thing Pru is an expert with our high tech equipment for the perfect reflection free shot! The blanket has a hole in it. She holds it up with a couple of broom handles whilst I snap the shot. What a team! By the way... this beautiful vintage 3 seater sofa is new to the shop. It has a solid oak plank style design and beautiful contrasting upholstery between the seat and back cushions (one striped, one textured). 08.01.2022 Help!!! We need to sell this vintage sofa!!! We've had it for too long and we have more sofas waiting in the wings. Its in really good condition with a twist on the classic chesterfield style. Its a beautiful compact 2 seater, perfect for a small room or apartment. The caramel toned leather is in great condition, no stains... its great! Its price is $1150. Tag someone (or a few people!) who you think may need this in their lives... if you tag the buyer, we will give you a $100 voucher to spend in our shop!!! What are you waiting for?!

05.01.2022 A bit of a community announcement here... Yesterday afternoon we had a visit from the police, checking that we are being compliant with our COVID-SAFE plan. Did you know that when visiting a retail business, checking in via the QR code, or otherwise physically signing in is mandatory? If we have a person on premises that has failed to do so, we face a $5000 fine, and the customer a $1000 fine. Yesterday we were compliant, so we were ok. Phew! Please keep this in mind wh...en visiting business premises (including your local daily routine stop offs) and make sure you do the right thing... a $5000 fine may be enough to put the extra financial strain on a small business that sees their doors shut forever. If you are asked to check in, then please don't be rude. If you choose not to that is your freedom of choice, but please respect the business owner if they ask you to leave, as that is their right too. Thanks for reading this! See more
