23.01.2022 As of this Saturday we will be back doing beard trims, please keep in mind we now HAVE TO keep a record of everyone we service. you will need to supply your name and contact number if you are having any services done. Given the circumstances of covid-19 It is common courtesy if one person from a family is getting a haircut the whole family doesnt need to come into the shop to watch them get a haircut, we will be monitoring this also as due to social distancing we only have limited spaces available for customers to sit. 14.01.2022 HI ALL WE HAVE DECIDED TO CLOSE EARLY TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE - STAY SAFE EVERYONE Due to the unforeseen weather predictions for the next couple days - this arvo included of storms and flash flooding (like yesterday) due to our shop being in a flooding zone we will be closing early if the roads surrounding us start to flood (morayfield shopping center etc) to ensure we can get home safe. 12.01.2022 Hi everyone, We have had to close early due to roads that my staff members live on are starting to flood from all this rain, im sorry for any inconvenience this has caused anyone, however the safety of my staff comes first and making sure they get home safe and sound is a priority. We are doing appointments for Thursday nights ONLY at this stage (once covid restrictions lift more we will go back to walk-in for Thursday nights) Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (Walk-in Only) Thursday 9am -5pm (Walk-in Only)/ 5pm - 7pm (Appointment Only) Saturdays - 8am - 1pm (Walk-in Only) - naomi starts at 8am and Chelsea starts at 9am We are also back doing beard trims and shaves as well Please also remember although we close at 5pm we take our LAST walk-in at 4:45pm, if we have a backlog of waiting customers we will usually bring our sign in earlier somedays - as we, like everyone else want to get out of work on time and home to our families you can also call ahead anytime to see how busy we are to avoid disappointment! 12.01.2022 Hello all, With this virus going around you can rest assure that the process of cleaning the barbershop and keeping it sanitary remains at all times our top priority. We wash the towels and capes daily as well as keeping all barber tools sterilised daily, and the combs are always sitting in disinfectant. If you are sick or show any signs of sickness my staff have been given permission to refuse service or politely ask you to leave- a lot of our clients are elderly and alrea...dy have weakened immune systems so please Dont take offence if we refuse service to you at this particular time, BUT As a small business if one of us catches it , we all catch it, which will then result in the shop having to close for a good couple of weeks while we quarantine which obviously isnt ideal for any of us, so your continued support is vital to us at this time Thankyou Chelsea

09.01.2022 Hi everyone We are starting to get back to some type of normal after the effect of covid, we are now back basically doing our NORMAL HOURS (which I will post below) as of NEXT WEEK. Please note - now we are back to normal we wont be taking any bookings, everything will be walk-in only, we will still need to take your name and number to abide by covid rules. Hours starting from JULY 13th... Mon - fri 9am -4:45pm Thursday 9am -6:45pm Saturdays 8am -1:45pm Chelseas permanent days off will be wednesdays and Thursday mornings , Ill be in from 3pm-6:45pm every Thursday. Naomis permanent day off will Monday. Shays day off will be Tuesday, Thurs night and fridays. These will be our regular hours from now on unless obviously someone is sick or on holidays etc and we need to juggle the roster. Thankyou.

07.01.2022 No need to resort to this yet mums and dads WE ARE OPEN UNTIL WE ARE ADVISED OTHERWISE Please just be vigilant to the social spacing rule, eg bringing multiple people with you into the shop etc, we will still be disinfecting benches/chairs/equipment after every client so please be patient with us while we are Taking extra time to sanitise, if you are sick or show signs of sickness you will be politely refused service.

06.01.2022 Given the current circumstances of covid-19 we are lucky to still be allowed to trade Under the strict government guidelines- this puts us in a vulnerable position still dealing with the community and given the viral circumstances for obvious reasons it goes without saying that WE ARE NOT offering any type of beard trims/shaves/hair washing/waxing etc at the moment as its not ideal having mine or my staff members hands around peoples mouths and noses, we have had an incident today where one of my staff members was abused because this particular person was politely refused service for a beard trim, under no circumstances will I ever tolerate the abuse of my staff, I will be backing them 100% on the decisions they make to refuse service/clients at any given time during this outbreak. 06.01.2022 YES WE ARE OPEN TOMORROW Prime Minister Scott Morrison has released the new bans on social distancing, As of yet IN QUEENSLAND WE DO NOT fit into these categories and therefore we are able to stay open for business. Please keep in mind we are and have been practising Very strict hygiene measures at empress barbershop - my staff and I will still be politely refusing service to ANYONE who we think show any signs of sickness or anyone who doesnt practice strict hygiene measur...es while in the store. No exceptions Like a lot of another businesses, we are a small business with minimal staff, if one of us catches it - we ALL catch it , which will result in the store closing - please be vigilant.
