17.01.2022 Tears of joy! Absolutely beautiful!
14.01.2022 In 2017, my daughter had a double lung transplant that saved her life. She has Cystic Fibrosis. Her lung capacity increased from 0%, and relying on a machine to keep her alive, to 95% overnight. In 2018, in the picture on the left, she got normal pneumonia and her body rejected the lungs leaving her with only 65% lung capacity and a new lung disease. She spent 6-weeks in ICU fighting the most excruciating pain just to live. They couldn’t put her on a ventilator because her bo...dy wasn’t strong enough on it’s own...she needed the power of her positive mindset as well. And yet she lives life to the fullest (this is her on the right after she did her makeup yesterday just to stay in her own self-imposed lockdown but needed to break the boredom). It’s sad people are dying, I’m scared shitless for my daughter. But we have to celebrate all those that are surviving despite the numbers we are losing. My daughter is alive, a beautiful soul, and happy because she has fought against death twice. There is hope even in the darkest tunnels. Let’s focus on the positives people. #covid_19
14.01.2022 Morning Everyone, feeling a bit deflated today and just don’t have the emotional energy to do a video. Yesterday was similar to Friday with symptoms but it was in the right leg and hip this time not the left. The pain and discomfort wasn’t as bad as Friday but I had feelings of not being in control which often impacts me mentally and then emotionally, especially when that level of constant pain happens twice in a row despite my recharge overnight. So today I’m ‘not adulting...’, meaning I’m not taking on any responsibilities, and thus am focusing my time and energy on doing things that make me feel better emotionally, which generally is keeping to myself. I will be back tomorrow though, so have a great Sunday.
13.01.2022 I think it’s hilarious that everyone has an opinion on what our PM should or shouldn’t be doing, what decisions are right and which are wrong. But yet, if you w...ere given the responsibility right now to make life changing decisions for 25.4 million people, I bet you would curl up into the fetal position sucking your thumb. Each of us is the PM of our home and family. Use your common sense to protect your family and lay off the one man in our country who doesn’t have the right to be by his family when they need him the most because he has to spend his time trying to help you. There have also been others saying that if we had a different leader then we would have been in lock down weeks ago. But this is just surmising. No one can say this for certain because no one else has been in the position that Scott Morrison is in now. And don’t get me wrong, I’m not a Liberal advocate and didn’t vote for Scott Morrison, but he is our nation’s leader. I don’t see anyone in his party trying to overthrow his leadership at the moment if what he is doing is so bad. Complete lockdown might slow the virus but it will create new problems, the man is trying to find the happy medium to not create more problems for us. We must remember that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. There are consequences with every decision we make. The question we need to ask ourselves is, ‘Am I ready to accept the consequences of a total lockdown?’
11.01.2022 Please share this to get the message out that total lockdown is not our best solution in Australia. We are the lucky country, the land of the free and are not accustomed to having our freedom taken from us and told how we should live. Total lockdown will cause many, many problems for a lot of Australian’s that will exist long after this virus has died out. So, let’s work together to come up with more positive, rational solutions to stop this virus. At the moment, people ar...e ‘choosing’ to lockdown to keep themselves, their family, and the rest of us safe. But if the PM is forced to take this choice away from us, then we will have bigger problems to worry about. Be smart, stay safe, stay home unless it’s life or death that you have to go out.
08.01.2022 Bloody brilliant!! A true ray of sunshine. Thank you Sir.
05.01.2022 Morning Everyone, no video again today and my apologies for not posting my dream video yesterday afternoon. Sadly I was faced with a serious personal confrontation that has taken until this morning to resolve and I now feel I need to work on and with myself today to make sure I achieve full closure from the situation and not forge ahead knowing I’ll be carrying unwanted baggage with me. A process I have found to be extremely helpful over the years when managing severe stress and anxiety. My goal is to be back on track tomorrow. Look forward to sharing more with you then.
03.01.2022 As I have posted before, this is my daughter, Katelin Jane. She has Cystic Fibrosis, a terminal genetic disease, that over time destroys the lungs, digestive system, and all other bodily systems that rely on secretions to function. The photo on the left is the night she nearly died from the rejection of her double lung transplant and the photo on the right was her travelling into Sydney city, on the train, late last year to go to a concert. Not many people know or understand...Continue reading
02.01.2022 Video 1 of a stream of videos to come in my attempt to Effect My Reality to live life by my design using the approach I have developed and outlined in my, hope to be, soon released book ‘Effecting My R.E.A.L.I.T.Y - Living Life By MY Design. Please know that doing this isn’t easy for me, so please be kind and supportive with any comments. And if you can’t do that then you’re not welcome in this safe space, and it’s recommended that you unfollow the page or just don’t post a...nything. Not only am I using my own personal strength to get through this time, I’m also relying on the strength of like minded people to share your strength to help me through. This is the beginning of what I hope to be part of my solution to win the current war to live a good life despite the battles I may face along the way.
