25.01.2022 APA NSW would like to remind everyone that as of June this EMSPA page will no longer be updated. All updates will be placed on the newer APA NSW facebook page.

23.01.2022 The APA NSW Group has now been moved to the below link. This change has come about due to a change in facebook policy not allowing a facebook group to be managed by a "page" (as you'll see all posts by APA NSW have been deleted from the group page) and as such now all groups need to be run by individuals, such as APA NSW Executive, SMC and our industrial officer. If everyone on this page could go to the below group page and join that one, that'd be great. This group page will be archived / deleted in about a weeks time. So far we've had great involvement from members on this group page and we want it to continue!! (just on our new page) smile emoticon Look forward to seeing you all in there! Apologies for the inconvenience.

21.01.2022 An APA (NSW) representative attended the Fairfield workshop on Tuesday 28th April, where NSWA were working on a solution to the eMR cable problems. NSWA believes that they have come up with a solution that involves the installation of two additional fuses and a pressure switch on the dock. The pressure switch turns power to the eMR lead off when the eMR is not in the dock. In the event that the eMR is in the dock and a short circuit occurs due to a damaged plug, or foreign body, then the fuses would provide protection. CLICK LINK FOR FULL UPDATE

02.01.2022 Metro SO Transfer List - APA (NSW) recently sought guidance from members with regard to the introduction of anSO Transfer List for Sydney. As a result of the feedback from members, and the failure ofconsultation to address the outstanding issues, APA (NSW) advised NSWA of our intentionto seek the assistance of the IRC in resolving this matter. Subsequent consultation withsenior management has led to the SO Transfer List proposal being withdrawn. APA (NSW)is aware that some members may be negatively affected and are currently seeking toassist them on a case by case basis. TO READ ENTIRE UPDATE CLICK LINK BELOW.
