25.01.2022 900 class diesel to go to a Northern home. Prepped and repainted with bare metal foil applied to represent the stainless panels along its flanks. Lightly weathered and fitted with loksound v5 with twin speakers in resin enclosures. All lighting replace with warm white leds and dual sealed beam headlight on the nose. Red/white colour changing markers round out the installation.

23.01.2022 We have Teased, and we have taunted and now the time has finally come. The EMS Team are very proud to announce the first release in our Signature Offerings of rolling stock and locomotives, The 8300 Brake Van. We have covered 5 of the major variants and all paint schemes from the S.A.R. Regal red days through ANR and finally the AN "Lemon twist". The early versions are covered right through the CGP and on to the broad and standard gauge versions. The models all have version ...specific details such as different journals and many minor details, even down to the toilet drains. The kits come complete with everything you need to finish, including laser cut window glazing through to the couplers and wheels. A comprehensive decal set is also included with many options available. There is even an optional interior insert for those wishing to take their model to the ultimate level. These are even specific to the variants with regards to their layouts and details. 22.01.2022 Recovery post surgery is plodding along and whilst service work has not resumed yet we are working hard on alot of other aspects of the business. We are proud to announce the launch of our brand new website coming this Friday. Once launched, we will also have an online store for all our products. Items will be added to the store in the coming weeks and with the launch of the site, comes something special so it won't just be a Good Friday this week it will be a great one! 19.01.2022 New speakers available. Twin sugarcube for the SDS 800 class for factory location. Single sugarcube for for the S.A.R. Model Co. Red hen. This is designed to sit on the roof cavity toward the centre. Two can be used for even better sound. This localises the output to where the sound should be coming from. ... Loksound V5 sound file for the Red hen now available also.

15.01.2022 VR DERM came in for sound and lighting. We fitted saloon lights front and rear colour changing markers as well as a light in each drivers cab that changes ends with direction. Fitted with a loksound V5 and EMS speaker.

15.01.2022 Orient express F class in for loksound V5, powerpacks and weathering. A light weather on this and a V5 micro with a EMS speaker. A large quantity of the f class locomotives that saw service were fitted with an Rx class whistle. This is the case with this loco and as such we have created a v5 file to suit. We have f class sound files for the standard whistle and the Rx whistle.

14.01.2022 Unfortunately an incident late last week resulted in me being sent to the QEH requiring urgent surgery on my hand. Of course it's my left and hopefully I will be out soon but as a result I have had to postpone all work and temporarily close the business until at least the 30th of March while in recovery. This is not an ideal situation as many are waiting for work to be finished and come back but I will be quite limited in my ability for at least the next week. We would like to thank everyone for there support and understanding and we will do our best to to get back into it as soon as possible. I can still be contacted if necessary and I am looking forward to getting back to work.

10.01.2022 Brand new SDS models 800 class locomotive straight out of the box straight on the bench. Full loksound V5 setup with our resin enclosures. Appropriate English Electric sounds with all the features you have come to expect from us. Weathered as per customer request.

10.01.2022 Even the oldies scrub up decent. Very old Rivarossi Y6b in for service.. loksound v5 smoke and weathering.

06.01.2022 Trainbuilder commissioned us to work on the H 220 brass locomotive. Installed ESU Loksound V5 decoder with custom speaker arrangement. Custom smoke unit and driver module fitted along with upgraded colour changing markers. Firbox flicker and cab light installed to illuminate the beautiful cab detail. The Locomotive was weathered as requested and here you see the final result. The smoke unit in this locomotive was cad designed to fit the space and element was tuned for good saturation as well as duration. Also introduced on this model is our rod clank feature. This is triggered by a function button and better represents the running gear clanking from older locomotives. We found this to be a deficiency in the current crop of steam files.

05.01.2022 Auscision x class X 31 fitted with loksound v5 and dual ems speaker enclosure. Also fitted stepights, bogie lights, staff exchanger lights , ladder light and cab light. Great for night ops.

04.01.2022 We would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a safe and merry Christmas and a prosperous new year. We would like to thank all of our loyal customers and dealers for making this year highly successful and this speaks volumes considering what we have all had to deal with this year. The business will be closed for the 24th December to the 4th of January. All work in the system will lapse over this period and we will be back next year to push the limits even further wi...th our standards and services. 02.01.2022 Trainbuilder K came to me in a non running state. After a remotor and a considerable amount of effort to repair all the binds in the mechanism we have a smooth runner. Fitted with Loksound V5 and one of our custom speakers. This vid was shot during testing stages so all that was left was a tidy up and touch up..
