24.01.2022 We have some good news to share The creek crossing to Girard Campground has been smooth out good enough to get 2wd vehicles across to the shower block. We got to thank Harry the best excavator driver, God sent. Well he was introduce by his son Brent (Ando's 4x4 Accessories) thank you Brent And a huge thanks to Harry, who is on his way right now to fix the crossing to The Oaks campground. ... This will make life a lot easier for those with low clearance vehicles. I'll post some photos as soon as I can. See more

24.01.2022 Latest Emu Creek retreat park map updated today - https://emucreek.com///2020/10/ECR-Park-Map-V2020.1001.pdf Most notable change is the new names of two campgrounds. The old competition area is now known as Twin Dam campground. And the newest campground, previouysly known as Beehive camp is now White Eagle campground. :D... Weather conditions are warm enough to swim during the day and cool enough for a nice relaxing fire in the eveining :D Looking forward to catching up with everyone over this amazing long weekend.

23.01.2022 Easter is at our doorstep!! QLDs covid lock down is ending as of 12pm today. 19.01.2022 What a wonderful end to a pretty ordinary year. Camp grounds are green, more water than we can ever recall at this time of year. We took a break over Christmas but had our first visitors arrive yesterday to enjoy this all in perfect privacy. Today we have a few more visitors arriving but with three other camp grounds empty the place is going to be far from over crowded. If you have not visited before I'd suggest now is the time to do so !... Merry Christmas to everyone who has visited and/or followed us on this journey. We are all so grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful land and even more grateful to be able to share it with our guests. A big thanks to all those who have help over the years and a special mention to Emilio Parra and Gary Rickard who have been Franks primary sidekicks fixing, clearing, burning, and sometimes breaking stuff Without them Emu Creek Retreat wouldn't look as great as it does right now!! Bring on 2021!!! A healthy, green, prosperous year of more adventure and less Covid. Stay safe this holiday period and remember, Life is better offroad

19.01.2022 Worker Gary, eagerly, pedantically measuring the creek crossing go down..... mil by mil.... The waiting got to much for him this morning, so he moved rock after rock in the crossing and brought it down from knee deep holes to ankle deep ones. Now he can finally boast that the crossing is crossable by 2wds ! Well done Gazza!!!
