Thanks to everyone who was involved: our fabulous Nippers, Age Managers, Canteen Crew, Raffle Sellers (& supporters - more on them this week), Water Safety, Officials, IRB Crews, Patrol Members & First-Aiders, Support Personnel, gear maintainers, cleaners, coaches & trainers....phew....Smashing job!! Feet-up everyone! You’ve all earned a well-earned rest

22.01.2022 Tomorrow is the last hurrah for the gear shed. Everything must be removed from there by the end of Patrol tomorrow afternoon (and our amenities too) as the space is handed over to our contractors for demolition on Monday. Parkie Breakie Beach Run is on in the morning @7:45.

17.01.2022 Santa has come early for our Patrolling members this year! Thanks to our successful Queensland Fire & Emergency Services Lifesaving Development Fund Sustainabilty & Extension of Services Grant (phew) we have been able to take delivery of a new Patrol ATV! This one has a longer tray to enable more equipment transport options down & back to the beach, saving our backs in the process. Perfect weather, smiling happy faces and families having fun in the sun An early start for some: Parkies were well represented and represented well in both competing & volunteering capacities for the Fitzroy Frogs Triathlon 2nd Tri for the season - our local magpies enjoyed it too Those new to lifesaving & nippers swelled our numbers for a come-&-try day. New recruits joined old. Ol...d friendships made new. Ted Training, Clubbie swim, patrols, BBQ & coffee rounded out a huge morning. Next Sunday will be our 2nd of 3 Come-&-Try days. 13.01.2022 25 young people joined the ranks of the red and yellow army today when they completed their Bronze Medallion or Surf Lifesaving Certificate. As qualified surf lifesavers they now take on the responsibility of keeping our beaches safe. Congratulations and welcome to the team everyone. 13.01.2022 Long-sleeved green team shirt orders are now open. Shirts will be the same as the Age Manager shirts, without "Age Manager" on the back or individual names on front. Final price won't be known until order numbers are confirmed, but expected to be $65-$70. $30 deposit / shirt are due by next Sunday (15/11). Payment options include EFTPOS at nippers or direct transfer. Bank details are on forms. There are men's, ladies and children styles. All in our fabulous GREEN! Size chart is attached also.

Tog material is good for pool and surf. Prices are reasonable & Afterpay is available too. Size chart is in the website. Sizing is pretty well true to size (meaning if you are usually a L12 in clothes, then you’ll fit a L12 one piece - but DO check the size chart first. The first sales window is SHORT (closes on , Monday Oct 5) so don’t delay. Order yours TODAY! There will be future order periods & additional items will be included then. But to try & get these delivered before the first Prem Series & Junior Carnival, this first sales period has purposefully been short.
