23.01.2022 The criteria for COVID-19 testing has changed in Queensland. If you have a fever (or history of fever) OR acute respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath), OR had exposure to a COVID positive person. you may require a COVID-19 test.... Our practice must assume all patients with the above symptoms have COVID-19. If you have any of these symptoms, please let our receptionists know. This will allow us to prepare for your visit and / or offer alternative arrangements. If you present to the practice with these symptoms, our receptionist will ask you to wear a face mask, and wait in your car or outside of the practice (mindful of social distancing recommendations). Your Doctor will then telephone you to ascertain more information and decided on your best care options. Your Doctor will decide if you need to be tested for COVID-19. This is one of the many measures our practice has taken to keep our patients and community well. Your safety is our priority.
