22.01.2022 Emu Park Branch celebrated the 95th Anniversary of commencement today. Starting at the CWA Rotunda on the Beach, Cheryl Greene told us of the myriad of projects and activities undertaken in that 95 years. A very pleasant morning tea at the hall followed, with fabulous anniversary patty cakes from Sandy Machin. Others brought lovely sangas etc. Very good attendance, almost to the limit of the COVID plan, but not quite.

The shopping outing was also an opportunity for the backpackers to share stories about how they were feeling with the caring crew from the the Country Women's Association. A small note was written on a torn out piece of notepad for the ladies and they are going to cherish it. Packs of toiletries were also put together by QCWA Bundaberg Branch.
