25.01.2022 'See the empty tomb today Death could not contain Him Once the Servant of the world Now in victory reigning'... "The angel said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.'" Matt. 28:5-6 (NIV) - Thanks Matt for sharing your creative reflection on today's passage in John 20.

16.01.2022 As everyone is aware we are in a very fluid time regarding Coronavirus/Covid-19 and updates and decisions change daily, so we will use our church email list and Facebook to communicate what is happening for us: Church is still meeting as normal, at this time. We are shortening the service to 1 Hour. ... Crèche will not be running for now, identified as a higher risk area; the children will stay in church. Kids Club still running on a Sunday morning. MOPS is cancelling the remaining meetings for the term. Home Groups are encouraged to continue to meet, follow appropriate action laid out in email. If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you stay home and refrain from physical contact and follow social distancing where possible.

10.01.2022 Join the greater West in praying for HOPE, HELP & HEALING-

08.01.2022 PREPARATION DAY Around this time of the year, just under 2000 years ago, a teacher was making preparations for the cessation of face to face lessons and the sta...rt remote learning. He told his students he had to leave, worse still be killed but not to be troubledthat it was actually better that he went away because he would be sending a helper who would teach them all things. Their quality education would continue. His students were not happy, or convinced, and before long they found themselves sheltering in place, the worst days of their life. Better this way?? Over the coming weeks the teacher that they had been so cruelly separated from, returned, alive. Not quite like before. There were brief zoom lessons, cameo visits in small and large groups and even one occasion where social distancing rules were relaxed (thanks Tom). It was enough to convince them there might be a future after isolation restrictions are lifted. In one last impressive proof, the teacher himself went up into the cloud. Just weeks after the darkest day, the promised helper did arrive with the most impressive launch. The teacher had returned as a mobile app, installed in each of his students never to be separated from the teacher again This app is given to every student of that teacher to this day. By Ian, a local teacher from the Greater West

04.01.2022 I want to call us as a church to prayer as we join with other churches in the Greater West and around the world. Pray always, but in a practical and tangible way we are invited to set an alarm, each day, at 10 am. We have seen God answer the prayers of his people calling out to him as one to put out the fires, fill the dams and restore the farms. Again, our nation needs our prayers to plead for: Hope: God’s people to be agents of hope in our fearful society.... Help: Isolated vulnerable who feel anxious, asking for provision and protection. Healing: for individuals, the nation, and the whole world. Use these 3 ‘H’ to guide your prayers at this time and see daily prayer posts on the GWFC page. If not us, who? If not now, when? Let's demonstrate our faith in God. - Phil
