25.01.2022 As a part of NAIDOC celebration the school did a communal piece of art. Each class was given a puzzle piece to paint and then they were all put together. The end result was phenomenonal. Having the artwork behind the glass in the hall makes it look great but a little tricky to photograph. Each child in the school had the opportunity to make their mark. Well done EPPS students. ... See if your child can find the piece that they contributed to. See more
25.01.2022 Year 6 had a great morning after Dance Fever Multisport had them testing their strength and coordination. Students were involved in a range of different activities, tug of war, circus skills and dancing just to name a few.

22.01.2022 Today our Year 6 students went on another amazing day of fun and celebration at Tru Ninja Penrith. These Year 6 ninjas were strong, gave all the challenges a go and their teachers were even given compliments by members of the public and staff about the outstanding behaviour they demonstrated. Students worked together, encouraged and supported each other and most of all had a blast . Congratulations Year 6! Look out Mount Midoriyama 2021 these ninjas have got the goods .

18.01.2022 What a great way to finish Term 1 2021. Congratulations to these students who have received Merit awards.
17.01.2022 The incoming leadership team and the current leadership team had a very festive lunch with Miss Bennett today. It was a great Q&A session where the teams were able to share information. From the noise level it would appear that they had a great time. It was a picnic so that everyone would fit.
16.01.2022 Heat wave! What heat wave? Our amazing sunflowers are standing strong and tall and so are our other amazing gardens. The sunflowers are resilient and strong, just like our EPPS community. All it takes is some care and concern from others and someone to make sure that you're OK.
16.01.2022 NAIDOC WEEK We have been looking at some impressive posters created by our students. Thank you to those students who put the effort into these incredible artworks. We will be announcing Stage winners on Friday during our NAIDOC Day. It was very tough for the teachers to judge.
16.01.2022 Kilometre Club is still running What a great way to start the day. We are lucky because the heat has not hit yet. We have kids smashing their personal goals, Year 6 working on responsibility and leadership skills, friends chatting and friends competing. They are a spectacular bunch of students.
15.01.2022 Oh 4W, the scratch art that you made for NAIDOC Day are amazing. They are so effective. Your artwork looks incredible in the office.

An astounding amount raised for our Year 6 students. Thank you to our wonderful EPPS students and community for your continued support of Year 6 and congratulations to Year 6 for putting on a cracking Fun Day
09.01.2022 Good morning Mr Ward is doing such an incredible job with the school grounds. He's a busy man and his hard work is paying off for everyone to reap the benefits of. The first sunflowers are emerging. I'll post more when we see a sea of flowers.... See more
09.01.2022 They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This morning the EPPS staff had a communal breakfast and enjoyed a fabulous feast. We also took the time to acknowledge Mrs McGrath who will be taking on a teaching position in Bowral. Mrs McGrath will be missed by staff and students.
08.01.2022 With December 1st arriving tomorrow many people will start decorating their Christmas trees. Some students have been creating individualised Christmas ornaments and printing them on the 3D printer. These lovely trinkets were made by some Year 3 students.
07.01.2022 They came in 2014 and left in 2020. There has been so much change in their time at primary school but from this experience they will have built resilience and adaptability.
06.01.2022 In all of the excitement around the end of the year, I nearly forgot to mention that two students received some awards. Congratulations to these students who scraped in just before the end of the year.
05.01.2022 While we could not observe Remembrance Day in the way that we normally would EPPS still observed the 1 minute silence. The school leaders under the guidance of Mrs Kay were able to lead the school in a commemoration of this significant day. It was very exciting to hear the planes fly over the school at a little bit after 11am. It was a goose bumps moment. Some classes have been discussing, reading, writing and crafting about what Remembrance Day means. Lest we forget.
05.01.2022 Hey Year 6 from Emu Plains PS!!! This is very exciting. Your Peer Support Leaders from NCPAHS are getting ready to introduce you to your 2021 school. Thank you to these high school students for taking the time to be ready for this. There are lots of excited, nervous, apprehensive, delighted and eager students ready to meet you. It is the next step in their educational journey.
05.01.2022 There were some big smiles yesterday as some awards were handed out. Congratulations to these students.
03.01.2022 It was a busy lunch time for Miss Bennett as she handed out so many awards. There were awards of all shapes and sizes and the smiles from students just speak volumes on how proud they were.
01.01.2022 Some more very proud students received their awards today. I never get tired of seeing that proud look on their faces
01.01.2022 As the sun shone down on our EPPS playground yesterday our 3-6 students got outside and participated in the first trial for the winter PSSA season. The sports on offer for winter this year include netball , AFL , soccer and rugby league . So many of our students trialled yesterday and what a fantastic effort they put in. We will run another trial on Monday of week 10 and one early next term to finalise teams. Well done Emus
