Jess worked for us at the age of 12 helping out on the weekends and holidays, her family then moved from the island. Recently they all moved back again and we employed Jess on a Hospitality Traineeship, we have certainly seen her grow in all areas of our business over the past year. Lewis moved here to manage our Cafe during my brain surgery and recovery and did a wonderful job. This cute couple soon fell in love Now they have a little business all of there own. We miss them both and wish them all the best with there new venture Jessica & Lewis

03.01.2022 We were excited to find these Refillable Airless Pumps, they are just perfect for any kind of liquid. We are really happy with how they work and believe they will be especially helpful for our Emu Oil customers. Only $4.00 HOW TO FILL: Using a small funnel or squeezing into the bottle with our flip top lids works well. HERES HOW TO REFILL THEM: If you are refilling at home please make sure your container is always clean and dry, you will need to push the disk inside back down... to the bottom once its empty (inside the tube) to for the pump to work, a straw is a great option for this. Using a funnel or squeezing into the bottle with our flip top lids works well. Try to avoid bubbly fills (empty spaces in the product). You can fix this by gently tapping the bottle as you fill it. PS: if you have emu oil and it is solid, soften the bottle in a glass of hot water before transferring over. WHY SWITCH TO AIRLESS PUMP BOTTLE... REFILLABLE AIRLESS PUMP BOTTLE: These are great for our Emu Oil. 01.01.2022 The Kangaroo Island community recently had a wonderful weekend of fun with the Variety SA Bash, 4WD & Moto Run team giving donations and good cheer across the Island as part of their tour across South Australia with 98 cars and 310 entrants and officials. There was over $100k of grant funding presented along the route in Kingscote and Parndana. These include: KI Calisthenics Club: Travel to Adelaide for the State Championships and uniforms - $6500... Stokes Bay Community Hall: Playground rebuild- $45,000 KI Community Education Campus Kingscote (KICE): School Playground - $27,500 KI Community Education Campus Parndana: School Playground - $27,500 Bendigo Bank, funded by the generous donors of the South Australian Bushfire Appeal, have contributed $50K, matched by Variety SA, to make these projects possible. We were honored to host the Gala Dinner and presentation night at Emu Ridge. It's the largest group we have ever catered for with nearly 300 guests visiting Emu Ridge for an evening of delicious food and drinks whilst sitting amongst the stars. Check out all the action here from their time on KI! We had our awesome staff in the cafe and shop plus a great team of volunteers from Wisanger Panthers Panthers Basketball club who will receive a donation to the club, they were a team to be reckoned with well done! We had the expertise help from Mary Loo Corcoran from the Ozone Hotel Kangaroo Island, her commitment to SA Variety Bath was outstanding. Sam her Chef also volunteered his time to work in the kitchen Words cant express our gratitude, Sue Pierson also helping out in the kitchen & Bobby Lou family. I personally want to thank Mel my daughter who worked tirelessly to make this night a success, our Manager Ella for helping make it all run smoothly. For the first time Larry and I got to relax a bit, it was great having all the family working together. There were many more helpers to many to name you know who you are thank you, you all helped make the night a success. what a fabulous night We thank Maggie from Maggies Photography for taking these great pics
