24.01.2022 Announcing our second special guest Yasmin Grigaliunas! Yasmin is the CEO and Co-founder of the World’s Biggest Garage Sale (WBGS) on a mission to turn Australia’s circular economy aspirations into reality while at the same time providing social good. In 2017 she ditched her corporate career to commit full-time to WBGS, a Brisbane based impact enterprise designing solutions to commercialise the circular economy through the activation of dormant goods for good. Through this ...work, WBGS provides employment pathways and opportunities for disadvantaged youth. Yasmin is living proof that we can make a positive impact towards people’s lives and the future of the planet, while building a sustainable and scalable enterprise. 03.01.2022 CALLING ALL QUT STUDENTS PASSIONATE ABOUT MAKING A BETTER WORLD Enactus QUT is partnering with QUTEntrepreneurship to facilitate the QUT Social Impact Challenge: An 8-Week multi-disciplinary challenge aimed at helping you make a bigger social impact than you previously thought possible!!! Over the 8 Weeks, participants will receive personal mentorship and guidance from members of the QUT community who know how to make a social impact. Whether you have an existing proj...ect, an idea for a project or a burning desire to solve a big issue, this challenge is the perfect opportunity to increase your impact in a short amount of time. To launch the competition, we are hosting a Launch Event next Friday 19 March at the QUT GP Foundry.
