15.01.2022 Breaking down the ways to get out of a creative funk 1. Try a bit of doodling. This is great if you put some music or a story on audio and let your mind wander. Don't get too invested in what your drawing, just let it happen. If you are stuck on how to begin, start with a circle, a word or a thing you like, maybe leaves.... I like tea so in this one I must have badly needed a cup of tea. Just start and let your pen take you where it wants to go Here's a doodle of tea I did a few years ago. See more

You can check out my pinterest boards(link below) they range from hand made books, bio-morphic art,bleach and paper,burning paper, rust, to of course encaustic. ... You can make your own little Pinterest inspiration library from all the wonderful things you find. https://www.pinterest.com.au/mogodbeer/ I discovered a wonderful artist named Rex Ray and another artist I love Yellena James I have included some of their work here to show what inspires me. We live in an age where so much imagery is available at the touch of a button, so go find your inspiration and enjoy. See more

04.01.2022 Happy Christmas, and a Wonderful New year to all our creative friends.We have had an amazing year with workshops all over Australia from Griffith in, NSW to Kuranda in Northern Queensland. This year we did, Mixed Media, Photo Encaustic, Encaustic with Collage, and Encaustic & Shellac. We hope we have given you lots of encaustic inspiration in 2019. We are currently spending Christmas on the Gold Coast with our children, and then next year we will be headed south again towards Sydney , inland NSW and Victoria, we have some new locations confirmed and a kit bag full of new ideas and workshops for you to enjoy. For those of you that have shared a workshop with us would love to see you again soon,and look forward to meeting some new creatives who will also become friends too. See more
