25.01.2022 Woolworths Discovery Garden! The children of ELF have begun their learning journey into gardening with the Woolworths promotion. We each took turns in placing water onto our soil pellet and watched it grow before our eyes, we then used our fine motor skills and hand, eye coordination to place the soil into the little pot.... Over the next few weeks we will take care and water our little plants in hopes of transferring to our vegetable garden!

23.01.2022 This week the children of ELF have discovered we have a nest in our hedge. We have been talking about being super careful around the nest not to frighten the baby bird inside or scare away the Mummy bird when it comes to feed it. The children have shown respect for the environment as they tiptoe around the hedge and check the bird each time they have returned to the yard, sharing their news with their fellow peers with every chirp or flap they witness. ... We have all been super intrigued with the wonders of nature and are excited to see the little bird grow.
23.01.2022 When the sun is shining and the water is calling us... just like mermaids we happily splash. Today team ELF spent some time exploring our local park, from climbing rocks, to taking turns on the slide and even using team work to pump the water. After a big play we discovered the tap and splash in it we did, we kicked the water, held our hands over the spout and even stood under it while the other turned it on to see what would happen.... It's safe to say we had a blast and left a very wet trail of foot prints all the way back to the car.
