Only 4% of Australian adults eat the recommended 5 serves a day. Many of us don’t know what a serve is. So, let’s clarify this now and move on to tips and hacks to get more serves of veg into your day. Fitting in five serves of vegetables each day is much easier than it sounds. I work with people who are receiving Cancer Treatments, have received Cancer Treatments & clients who had a family history of Cancer as a preventative measure. ... As a survivor of Cervical Cancer & with my families history of Cancer I was very aware of the threat of a Secondary Cancer’s, during my treatments my hope, aim and goal was to be heading into remission within 6-8mths. I was lucky I have always had regular Pap Smears (every Tax time so I remember) & I check my girls a few times a week. Finding breast cancer early provides the best chance of surviving the disease. Remember you don’t need to be an expert or use a special technique to check your breasts. : a new lump or lumpiness, especially if it's only in one breast a change in the size or shape of your breast a change to the nipple, such as crusting, ulcer, redness or inversion a nipple discharge that occurs without squeezing a change in the skin of your breast such as redness or dimpling an unusual pain that doesn't go away. There are things you can do to manage your risk of developing breast cancer. Factors that can be changed are called modifiable factors.
