Make sure you explore Uralla Reserve just a few minutes from the centre of town, in the foothills of the Strzeleckis. You won’t believe your luck when you find this little patch of bushland and temperate rainforest offering a range of walks from easy towell let’s just say there are a couple of hills tha...t will test you. There is a lovely flat loop that offers serenity, lots of birds and over autumn and winter, a really beautiful array of fungus. If you’ve got good eyes and are happy to scan the treetops, you also might spot one of the local koalas snoozing on a branch.
