25.01.2022 Night time portraits Rachel & Michael loved this beautiful fountain at their venue. Our challenge - there was no light. 24.01.2022 It was a celebration of love for Ianthe and Adrian. Married Nov 23rd 2019. Adrian only weeks ago moving from Malaysia to marry his beautiful Bride. Their deep faith and love shone. Wed at St Benedicts Catholic Community Parish, Burwood by Fr Nicholas. It was a heart felt ceremony. Ianthe being a teacher, had many of her adoring students there who sang the offertory perfectly harmonised. A few photos in the Dandenong ranges and then they headed to Fortnums Restaurant and Rec...eption Venue for their reception. Ianthe & Adrian, it was an honour to be part of your day! 21.01.2022 Grace and Josh's beautiful wedding sneak peek at Baxter Barn, Friday, 6th of March 2020. Sparks flew between these two, literally (watch till the end) . This couple knows how to celebrate! I started at Grace's house, filming all the ladies getting ready. It was great to meet the family! The love that surrounded Grace was inspiring. Her smile beamed. A bridesmaid offered to do the flowers and they looked amazing (Certainly the biggest bridal bouquet I have ever seen, stunning...!). The rain started to set in, but as you can see, by the time the wedding started, it all cleared up. I'm sure Grace and Josh were stoked that the day turned out so well. Well done to Baxter Barn for their rustic, gorgeous setting! Josh certainly took the day in his stride, but it was great to catch those moments where he was just blown away by the beauty and gift of having Grace in his life! 20.01.2022 The word most thrown around to describe Nikita and Thomas day was perfect. How could it not be with these two high school sweethearts coming together? They are perfect for each other. Laid back, fun loving with gentle natures. They had all the other ingredients for the perfect day. They really cared about their guests and that each person had the chance to relax and enjoy the celebrations. Many of their guests even stayed the night at their gorgeous venue and joined them... for breakfast the next day. Flowerdale Estate was everything they could ask for. Tranquil with spectacular views and a rustic new reception pavilion that made full use of the surroundings. Denise and Maria ran the show and were incredibly helpful and friendly. By the time their 4:30pm ceremony rolled around the sun was shining and heating up the day for a magnificent warm night. Only a Victorian would have believed that just that morning it was bucketing down. Nikita and Thomass ceremony took place in the outdoor garden with rolling hills as a back drop. A group photo under the gorgeous oak tree and then we roamed the grounds for photos whilst guests headed for canaps. The reception was a relaxed affair! A beautiful first dance opened the celebrations. Yummy food, with lots of laughter. Guests happily roamed between the dance floor to the outdoor bar deck, some relaxed and mingled on the lawn. The evening for us ended with Nikita and Thomass sparkler exit but I have a sneaky suspicion the partying didnt stop there with a venue full of cheerful guests. 19.01.2022 Chroma Dermatology are the pioneers in dermatology for people with skin of colour and different ethnicities. Dr. Michelle Rodrigues is a very dear friend and passionate about how people of different backgrounds react differently to skin treatment. She, with her team, led a cutting edge conference for Dermatologists and Doctors providing education very much need for our multicultural nation. I was privileged enough to be the photographer for the event. It was fascinating and I am so inspired to see Dr Michelles passion driving her industry!

19.01.2022 Alexandra and Michael’s amazing wedding at St Benedict Catholic Church Burwood, Sunday 5th January 2020. It was great to capture this wedding, especially since I knew Michael and his family from when I first came to Melbourne from Perth! They are an awesome family, so it was great to be a part of the celebration! Here is a little highlight from their ceremony and reception. This song was chosen for their bridal waltz and it was awesome! A golden oldie 'It’s Been A Long, Long ...Time' by Harry James and his Orchestra. The reception was held at the The Ivory Elsternwick. At one point, I went outside to check the sunset and there was a beautiful rainbow! So, we got the couple outside for a few shots. The perfect end to a perfect day! Later in the evening after the speeches, Michael surprised Alexandra with a dance that involved the whole bridal party! By the look on her face, she had no idea what was happening. 17.01.2022 Ella and Traviss wedding day sneak peek. Lots of beautiful views at Sandy by the Bay in Sandringham. Though there was quite a bit of rain they still managed to shake it off and have a great day. It was great o see these two have a ball and celebrate well with family and friends. 15.01.2022 This is a sneak peek of Connie and Daniels wedding day. What an action packed day it was, a great celebration of love. It started off at the beautiful Kamesburgh Gardens where DIY Brides Melbourne Events set up a beautiful setting for the wedding. We had Rob from Bayside Church as the celebrant who did an amazing job. Then we went to st Kilda gardens for some photos, then the reception at Brighton Town Hall. There was a great celebration by family and friends for this lovely couple, including a lot of dancing Chille style and special latin dancing from Daniels best man and his wife. 14.01.2022 The much anticipated event finally arrived. 12th of October 2019, wedding bells rang for Loredana and Emanuele! We met up with the girls for a super chilled getting ready time. Loredana was joined by her parents and lovely bridesmaids. Her makeup looked gorgeous and there was attention to every detail. And of course, check out the dress! We got some beautiful photos with everyone there, before it was time to head off to the church. Meanwhile, our photographer Allie and videog...rapher David caught up with the guys. Surrounded by family and friends, Emanual got ready in full spirits as he waited for his stretch Ferrari to arrive. Way to get to the church in style! Their ceremony took place at the stunning St Anthonys Shrine in Hawthorn. A family tradition as Loredanas parents and other family were married there. The artwork in St Anthonys is mesmerising as were our couple. Emanuel was full of delight as he saw his beautiful bride come down the aisle. We headed off with the bridal party and family to ACCA, the NGV and the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria photos for some picturesque bridal and family portraits. The party kicked off at Ferraro Receptions in Campbellfield. There was plenty of food, drinks, fireworks, dry ice and dancing to make their festivities a memorable one. 11.01.2022 Day 1 of Su and Jons 2 day wedding celebrations. I first met Su, Jon and their boys for their engagement shoot at Mordialloc Pier late last year. Corey and I were then lucking enough to spend a bit more time with them for a couples shoot at enchanted Redwood forest. I always love when we have the opportunity to catch up with couples a few times before their day. It was precious to join them for their traditional tea ceremony last Friday. 09.01.2022 Gen and Matt are a gorgeous, fun filled couple! Tying the knot on the Friday, 24th Jan. Arriving at the guys getting ready, Matt couldnt wait to get to his ceremony and marry his bride. There was so much laughter between them, they made our job easy! Matt opened a smooth bottle of Johnnie Walker Swing hed been saving for a special occasion and got in a game of dominos with plenty of banter. Our lovely ladies got ready at Sandy Hill Apartments, where we first saw our brides... eye for design. Even their snacks looked gorgeous. We were so warmly welcomed, we knew this day was something special! With a blank canvas for their venue, Gen did an amazing job creating her own space. Even their Celebrant was their own design! They couldnt think of anyone better than their friend, John Marc. So Matt gave their close friend a call to see how he felt about getting a marriage license especially for their day! Well, he did a brilliant job and they are married!!! Our couple enthusiastically wanted to get on play equipment, throw a frisbee and kick a soccer ball for their bridal party photos. Our bride on the flying fox was definitely a first! Their awesome bridal party, even supplied the dance music for our shoot! We thought their wedding dance as pretty spectacular, then later that evening Gen had a surprise modern dance planned for Matt. And surprised he was! They nailed it! 09.01.2022 Another success story for the swipe right! Ella and Kane just go together. Besides their beautiful hearts, their families are super important to them and they both share a great love for Harry Potter. So much so that Kanes proposal was an elaborate adventure trail. We knew that this wedding would be special when they informed us that the groomsmaids were Kanes sisters. They couldnt have chosen a better bridal party or surrounded themselves with nicer people. ... Despite the crazy morning rain on the day of their wedding, I knew things would be fine for this optimistic couple. They both got ready at Quest Apartment in Abbotsford and shared a first look and bridal portraits at Studley Park boat house. Their gorgeous wedding ceremony and reception took place at Collingwood childrens farm. They took their chances getting married under a beautiful Oak tree and the rain played nice. 07.01.2022 It has been a great journey with these two, Su and Jon. I first met Su when filming her brothers wedding in 2016. And it was a privilege for Leisl and I to be chosen for their two engagement shoot, then tea ceremony and then wedding (and a trip to Macers in there also). Su and Jon have such an energy for life, love and laughter and I believe I captured that in this their sneak peek, hope you guys enjoy. I looked forward to Su and Jons wedding day because I knew they would g...o all out, and they didnt disappoint. The bridal party was 18 including Su and Jon, huge, but easy to be around and a great laugh. Both Su and Jon were relaxed on their wedding day and totally focused on having a great time and that they did! With the exploding balloon scene, the team at Abracadabra Events explained to me that the balloons explode and then little balloons go to the ceiling. I was a bit concerned when Sus uncle grabbed the balloon and put it near them for the final part of the song but it was great to capture everyones surprise. No one was hurt during the making of this highlights. Su and Jon we hope this highlights video brings back lots of memories from your wedding weekend and we look forward to sharing more with you. 06.01.2022 Day 2 of Su and Jons 2 day wedding fiesta. Waking up the day after Su and Jons wedding, the only song in my head was We came here to Party! Party Party!. I think its safe to assume thats what they came for...and to get married of course. Married in the picturesque Botanical Gardens by Nymphaea Lily Lake, it was a backdrop that would have inspired even Van Gogh. Their ceremony was full of laughter and happiness.... After we made use of the gorgeous gardens for photos and filming, these guys put the party in bridal party travelling in their stretch hummer to their Brighton Receptions venue. 03.01.2022 It was great to see Loredana and Emanuel celebrating little moments on the lead up to their wedding day and to be there to see it unfold was a treat. This is just a sneak peek of some lovely moments that happened through out the day on the 12th of October 2019 Their ceremony took place at the stunning St Anthonys Shrine in Hawthorn. A family tradition as Loredanas parents and other family were married there. It was great to witness Emanuel seeing his bride for the first tim...e. We headed off with the bridal party and family to ACCA, the NGV and the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria photos for some picturesque bridal and family portraits. 03.01.2022 Grace and Joshs beautiful wedding sneak peek at Baxter Barn, Friday, 6th of March 2020. Sparks flew between these two, literally (watch till the end) . This couple knows how to celebrate! I started at Graces house, filming all the ladies getting ready. It was great to meet the family! The love that surrounded Grace was inspiring. Her smile beamed. A bridesmaid offered to do the flowers and they looked amazing (Certainly the biggest bridal bouquet I have ever seen, stunning...!). The rain started to set in, but as you can see, by the time the wedding started, it all cleared up. Im sure Grace and Josh were stoked that the day turned out so well. Well done to Baxter Barn for their rustic, gorgeous setting! Josh certainly took the day in his stride, but it was great to catch those moments where he was just blown away by the beauty and gift of having Grace in his life! 01.01.2022 Ella and Traviss special day bought me back to that age old question, why dont all dresses have pockets? The answer...Ellas Mum, Nola who made her dress doesnt make all dresses. But I digress. Ella and Travis are a beautiful, chilled, in love couple, so there was no doubt that their day would be just that. The guys looked dapper when we arrived! Travis dressed in his tails. We wandered down, to the local park for some photos and a little Lawn bowls at Murrumbeena Park... Bowls Club. Ella, her parents and bridesmaids enjoyed a lovely breakfast and getting ready time at Quest Cheltenham. The rain poured but gave us a little break just in time to get out on the balcony for photos. Minnie & Mickey Mouse were the mascots of the day appearing first on Ellas ride. Married at Sandy By The Bay with ocean views and rain making for a gorgeous backdrop. Wed by Pete The Celebrant who kept everyone entertained with their story. Our game bridal party, braved the weather for photos on the pier. The day made amends and poured gorgeous light over our couple. The guys showed us a bit of their favourite WWF impressions whilst a bird tried to attack our drone...the drone survived. Back to Sandy by the Bay and their reception kicked off. DJ Peterd Entertainment Plus had the party going. Their first dance was full of the fun that perfectly reflected this couple. Anita, their venue planner was amazing, making sure everything flowed. Ella and Travis, we hope you are enjoying your honeymoon. We had such a fun day with you!
