24.01.2022 Our lovely Early Learners demonstrated their interest in writing their names on their crafts, so we planned different hands-on activities to encourage and support their pencil grip and pre-writing skills. Pre-writing skills are important milestones that begin to emerge during preschool age. Pre-writing skills are used to encourage, develop and support opportunities for Early Learners to begin writing. These skills include sensor motor skills which enable a child to hold and use a pencil which gives them the ability to copy, trace, draw, and color.

24.01.2022 Endeavour Early Education include dance classes as part of their extra-curricular program because dancing is so much more than fun! Our dance classes encourage children to have fun through interpreting music whilst enabling many of the developmental attributes of growing children. Dance also helps children to develop physically as it involves a greater range of movement, coordination, strength and endurance than most other physical activities. It uses the whole body and is a...n excellent form of exercise for total fitness. Dance helps children mature physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively. The physical benefits of dance are widely accepted, but the emotional, social and cognitive attributes have only recently begun to be appreciated. Children also develop social awareness through dance as it fosters social interaction and cooperation allowing them to understand themselves in relation to others.

All meals and snacks are provided and are prepared fresh daily by our dedicated onsite chef. We have fresh organic produce delivered weekly from local certified organic suppliers. We adhere to the highest food safety standards and our food is free range, hormone-free and pesticide-free.... Children grow their own organic fruit and vegetables on site. When they are ready, our children harvest, help prepare and enjoy the fruits of their labour for their own paddock to plate experience. This encourages a child to become more curious and excited about trying new foods, and to broaden their palate. Endeavour children are school ready, healthy and well rounded. 03.01.2022 Our Early Learners are back and it did not take long for them to become engrossed in our learning experiences today! To extend our learning of the letter 'Aa' we explored apples. As a muse for their imagination using the matching colours of red and green the Early Learners created an apple in their own image. This experience also allowed the children to have a voice and ask questions. From their question we decided to do a little bit of research by watching a short document...ary on how apples grow. Transferring the two experiences we then extended the children’s learning by exploring our sense of touch, smell and taste. The children demonstrated developing dispositions of learning while exploring their creativity.
