23.01.2022 Mental health matters... Whilst its hard enough for us to stay physically well in these challenging times, staying mentally well is just, if not more vital. Listening to others so you may understand their situation or struggles is important, and acknowledging our own feelings is a sign of strength. Being there for each other is more important than ever. ... Heres are some good ways we can respond to our children and each other when we share about how the current situation (or indeed any situation) makes us feel. Stay safe...

20.01.2022 Thank you everyone. The generosity of our Endeavour community has been humbling for our project Care Packages for the Troops as it something that is very close to the hearts of most of our families at Endeavour. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has made this possible. Due to your kindness we are now able to send 31 boxes of joy and hope to lift the spirits of the people fighting for our country, who don’t get to see their loved ones at Christmas.

19.01.2022 Please find below an update in relation to Term 2- a copy will also be emailed to families.

19.01.2022 Thank you for support and patience during todays return to school. For the pick up at the end of the day we recommend that parents organise a set gate that they will meet their children at- this will assist all parties involved. The three gates that are open for Year 1- 6 students are- Achiever Ave- north (near undercover area), front gate and south oval (near rooms 23/24).... Early childhood students can be dropped off at the ECE service gates in the morning and picked up from the basketball courts in the afternoon. In the afternoon parents are asked to wait on the dots on the court to assist with social distancing.

18.01.2022 Good news from our music teacher, Mrs Nurse. Both Junior and Senior choirs resume this Friday at their normal times. Mrs Nurse will be wonderfully assisted to ensure the groups sizes are 30 students or less.

18.01.2022 In Term 1, parents were asked to complete a survey Tell Them From Me. An information session is being held tomorrow, Thursday, 3rd September in the staffroom from 9.30am 10.30am to present the feedback provided in the survey and to inform parents how we are incorporating this feedback into the planning for the next Business Plan. We hope to see you there.

17.01.2022 Exciting news!!! We have just been advised that our toilet upgrade commences today. We are starting with Cook Block and Banks block will follow in approximately two weeks. 17.01.2022 Dear parents/caregivers, You may have recently received notes from our members of the Junior and Senior choirs advising they would be singing at the NAIDOC Week Assembly in Week 10. Unfortunately, this will now take place in November as per the National NAIDOC Committee decision below. Statement from the National NAIDOC Committee:... National NAIDOC Week 2020 celebrations will be held from the 8th - 15th November, 2020 The November dates follow the decision by the National NAIDOC Committee (NNC) to postpone NAIDOC Week from the original July dates due to the impacts and uncertainty from the escalating Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic across our communities and cities. The postponement was aimed at protecting our elders and those in our communities with chronic health issues from the disastrous impacts of COVID19. The NNC understands that the original July dates for NAIDOC Week may still be acknowledged by communities and organisations. We strongly encourage that those events be staged in a COVID safe way to continue to protect the most susceptible in our communities. We thank you for your understanding and working with us during these uncertain times. The NNC are continuing to work with our partners and key stakeholders to make NAIDOC Week 2020 a suitable and fitting celebration of #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe Mrs Kerry Nurse Music Specialist

It is a week to celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. NAIDOC week at Endeavour will start with a morning assembly on Monday, 9t...h November. Parents are welcome to attend and will be expected to follow the COVID-19 distancing rules. Hand sanitiser will be available. Students and staff are invited to dress in NAIDOC tops or tops featuring Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander designs. Alternatively, students can wear Aboriginal flag colours (red, yellow, or black), Torres Strait Islander flag colours (green, blue, white, or black) or their faction shirts for the day. Black bottoms and correct school appropriate footwear must be worn. During NAIDOC Week students will be creating a Wall of Fame of Indigenous people who have impacted on Australia. Students in Kindy Year 6 will have an opportunity to participate in various classroom activities such as making bracelets throughout the week. There is also a colouring in sheet for students to do. Once completed, put your name and room number on the sheet and bring to the front office before Friday, 6th November and your picture will be displayed at the NAIDOC Assembly being held on Monday, 9th November.
