19.01.2022 ENDEAVOUR WIN IN ROUND TWO OF THE PUMA CUP Yesterday our Senior Boys Football squad defeated Hunter Sports HS 4-1. Jesper Webber opened the scoring with a cracking strike from 30 yards out after some good defensive pressure from boys followed by some crisp ball movement. Jesper then pounced on an errant pass from Hunter to double our lead. The boys had chances to increase the lead but some indecisive play thwarted our efforts. Hunter clawed a goal back after the boys took th...eir foot off the pedal and the momentum began to swing, requiring Max Vartuli to make a good save and the defence some important headers. A more controlled performance in the second half enabled the boys to score another two goals after some excellent passing movements. Scorers were George Papadakis and John Fotopoulos. Overall, an important and good win for the boys. See more

13.01.2022 Endeavour Sports High School 4 - 4 Sydney FC Academy: Our Endeavour senior boys squad participated in an early morning match on Monday against a combined u15/16/17 squad from Sydney FC academy. The early morning start was a slow one from our boys with Sydney FC racing to a 2-0 lead early in the first half before we were able to adjust to the tempo and intensity of the game and the game levelled off into a more evenly balanced affair. The second half started off with a bang fo...r Endeavour who were able to make some tactical adjustments during the break and levelled the score with two goals in quick succession from Brae Ovens and Jesse Photi. Another flurry of goals in the 75th and 77th minute from George Papadakis and Nelson Lam were a fitting reward for a dominant Endeavour period of play before two late goals from Sydney FC levelled the scores at 4-4. 09.01.2022 TSP CRICKET: The 20/20 round robin Shire Cup kicked off yesterday with Endeavour fielding 3 teams. Many of the juniors were on debut for our TSP Cricket program. The 3rds team, consisting mainly of Year 7's, had a good win over Caringbah High. Playing against several Year 9 and 8 players, our Year 7's batted first and scored 127 after our allotted 20 overs. This included good contributions from Lachlan Snell, Marcus Kandylas and Hayden Mewburn. Caringbah started well but good bowling from Matt Mayer and Blake Bruzgulis (Man of the Match) turned the game around. We eventually won by 13 runs. The 2nds team also had an impressive win against Kirrawee, with Will Garwood and Marcus Jewell both scoring 60's.

08.01.2022 A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL: CONGRATULATIONS, THANK YOU & FAREWELL MR GEDGE This week we say goodbye to one of the longest serving members of Endeavour Sports High School - Brett Gedge. Starting his career as a Music teacher in 1984, Brett joined Endeavour in the mid-90s. Over the years he has well and truly established himself as a quiet achiever. Brett is a gifted musician with his own band The Derby Dolls I have always admired those with musical talent, even more so if th...ey can foster that ability in others; Brett has certainly done that with thousands of students over his long career. Evidence of his musical and teaching talents have been on display at countless assemblies and school events. He clearly has great rapport with his students and I think his gentle encouragement of them has been the key to that. Undoubtedly one of the highlights for me was sitting right near him as he conducted the Special Ed performance at last year's Performing Arts Night. He was like a nervous father and I could see both the relief and pride on his face when they received a standing ovation. Apart from these qualities Brett is an absolute gentleman and a genuine good guy. On behalf of the Endeavour Family I would like to thank Brett for all that he has done for our students and school and wish him the very best for his well earned retirement. James Kozlowski Principal

Congratulations to the boys' team who only dropped two sets in the final against Westfield Sports, putting them in good form to back up their 2019 state finals win. Our girls team had a draw and won overall on a count back which is amazing for such a young team, well done girls!

06.01.2022 Congratulations to Cassie Brown and her AFL Women's Division 1 team who have progressed through to the 2020 AFL Grand Final, to be played next Saturday. 02.01.2022 Our Sydney FC Academy School Year 7 and Year 8 groups participated in a series of round robin 11 v 11 matches against Matraville Sports High School this morning. Our boys and girls formed 6 combined squads and worked with the coaching staff to play in three 10 minute high intensity training matches each. The concept was designed to replicate tight games with limited time to get a result, encourage players to think and play at the highest intensity possible and help us measure how we are doing with the team and player themes we have been working on this semester.
