24.01.2022 Arrived at Jarrahdale via Kinsella Rd. Up and down dale through the forest. What a good night we had for the last night in Brookton ( such a lovely town). Made new friendships and meeting again at the farm near the Duke in October. Parked up for the night at Jarrahdale free camp. But rainy but who cares .

23.01.2022 Little trip to Pingelly and Beverly today. Breakfast at a quaint little cafe at Pingelly. In Beverly you can dine with your dog. This big doggy sat on the seat, had her snack and a little siesta. Sausages from the butchers. Great to see these small towns have not been outrun by Coles and Woolworths.

22.01.2022 After being without our caravan for 3 weeks we decided to walk into the city which was not my idea of a good time . Perth city centre was very quiet. Another trek to Elizabeth Quays and an orange juice were in order. Picking the caravan up tomorrow.

19.01.2022 Beautiful day travelling 170 kilometres on the Emu Fence Rd. The road was better than than highway believe it or not. 2 kangaroos decided to have a fight in the middle of the rd while baby Joey watched. We are at the Wave Rock caravan park. It’s very peaceful and not many vans here. Wave rock tomorrow:-)

17.01.2022 Lots of hidden treasures in Hyden. A visit to Mulkas told an interesting story. The name Mulka comes from an Aboriginal legend associated with the cave. Mulka was the illegal son of woman who fell in love with a man with whom marriage was forbidden according to their law. It is believed that a result of breaking these rules, she bore a son with crossed eyes. Even though he grew to be an outstandingly strong man of colossal height, his crossed eyes prevented him from aiming... a spear accurately and becoming a successful hunter. Out of frustration it is said Mulka turned to catching and eating human children and he became the terror of the district. He lived in Mulka's Cave, where the imprints of his hands can still be seen, much large and higher than that of an ordinary man.

17.01.2022 A little drive down to Brookton today, scenery was amazing. The Canola fields are starting to bloom and the farmer I spoke to said another 3 weeks and they’ll be out in full. We ran out of Ad Blue after a service on the car and specifically asking to check and do Ad Blue. Lucky for us B.P Corrigin had it.

14.01.2022 Absolutely beautiful place and for $30 bucks a night you get all this at Bonney’s ski park in Baldivis. I went walking on the walking tracks while his highness is watching footy. Check out our neighbours Taj Mahal on wheels.

14.01.2022 We took a little drive to Dampier and the Burrup peninsula. The gas pipeline was interesting to see and that’s where our gas comes from. We went to a lovely cove called Hearsons Cove. The water was a bit murky as it is when there’s a low apparently. Red dog is very popular in the Pilbara.

12.01.2022 I wondered who the culprit was pooing at our front door. Finally exposed himself .
