23.01.2022 The appropriately named Wrap-around Spider (Dolophones species), a native. I only saw this brilliantly camouflaged spider because it moved slightly when I bumped the branch. On a Forest Red Gum in Rifle Range paddock.

13.01.2022 Quite an array of personal taste when it comes to a front door. The webbing is starting to show on some Burroughs which gives us much hope for this little high altitude colony. Little glowing mushrooms looking great for the pathway to Atrax underground nightclub

UPDATE 25 MARCH 2021 - The Blue-Green Algae Red Alert remains in place at Mannus Lake. On advice from WaterNSW people are reminded not to enter the water, not to drink untreated water or bathe in water drawn from the lake or creek while the red alert level warning is in place. Livestock owners should monitor stock water supplies and remove stock from waters where surface scum is visible or blue-green algae is suspected.. 15 MARCH 2021- BLUE-GREEN ALGAE RED ALERT FOR MANNUS LAKE People are advised not to enter the water, not to drink untreated water or bathe in water drawn from the lake or creek while this red alert level warning is in place. Warning signs have been erected at key recreational areas around the lake which will remain in place on advice from WaterNSW. People who believe they may have been affected by blue-green algae are advised to seek medical advice. Red alert levels represent 'bloom' conditions. The water may appear green and may have strong, musty or organically polluted odours. Blue-green algae may be visible as clumps or as scums. The 'blooms' should be considered to be toxic to humans and animals, and the water should not be used for drinking (without prior treatment), stock watering, or for recreation.
