07.01.2022 Day 10 - canefields, copperlode and celebrations

06.01.2022 So we knew the weekend was going to be epic, but we are two very proud coaches right here. It’s absolutely inspiring to have these guys as part of our squad, kudos guys! Ironman World Champs (Kona) *Andrew Jamieson completed his first Ironman and smashed it out of the park, not only finishing in a very respectable time (12:52) but landing himself on the podium (3rd in hand cycle division). His wife Kristy should also be recognised for her efforts as Andrew’s handler - hard ...work. *Tom Gersekowski finished his second world championship race in as many years, and his third full Ironman for the year. You can never completely predict how your body is going to go in an Ironman and there are so many variables, especially in Hawaii. Tom hung tough, crossing the line in 11:06 and 26th in the world in the 18-24 AG! Melbourne Marathon Catherine Coller had an absolutely cracking morning, posting a 3:58 in her first marathon and 29th in the 50-54 AG!

06.01.2022 Racing over west this weekend in a strong field and predicted great conditions, we have the super couple from QLD. Stacey Borsboom - 70.3 and Brendan Motley IM Enjoy and go get what you deserve!

05.01.2022 Big weekend coming up! Shoutouts to a few of our crew out to carve it up. Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii *Tom Gersekowski - second trip to the big island and 3rd full Ironman for the year (qualified at IM Cairns). Is in good form and has been hitting the numbers, looking to crush last year’s time. Go big Tom!!... *Andrew Jamieson - first trip to Kona, and first full distance Ironman, after qualifying in the handcycle division at Cairns 70.3. Andrew has pushed himself incredibly hard this year, and we are very proud of all the work he’s done - you’ve got this mate!! Melbourne Marathon *Cath Coller - first crack at the marathon distance after smashing her first 70.3 in Cairns earlier this year. Cath has been training well and ticking all the boxes. Excited to see what this little rocket can do!

04.01.2022 Ironman Western Australia yesterday was a big success for our girl Lee-Emma Smith! Busselton put on a cracking day and she held strong all the way to the finish...smashing out her first Ironman in 12:45, to come 22nd in the 30-34 age group. Also a special mention to many friends who also raced both the IM and the 70.3 yesterday...there were some huge PBs and epic first time results. ... Enjoy the celebrations
