23.01.2022 ONE PIECE BELL HOUSING 5 AVAILABLE ON FIRST RELEASE Suits Barra to Powerglide.... These are factory Ford bell housings that have been welded billet 6061T and powder coated black. These use a standard GM converter height. Flex plate to converter clearance needs to be set between .120-.150 or as recommended by your transmission builder. As always we are very conscious of weight and strength with all our products and with this 3x .083 main tube we have achieved these demands with maximum hollowed splined sections and titanium bolts. With the extension of the pro radial cars these days we have 7.5 arms which reduces the rotation of the arm compared to a 6. PRICE : $990 AUD inc.

15.01.2022 Chicken Coop Falcon XA GT with factory Jelly Bean Mag wheels sells at Greys online auction for $300,000, unrestored and covered in dust and surface rust, was Parked in a farm shed unregistered since 1988 as the owner could not afford the insurance. This rare 1973 Car is a piece of Australian motoring history, purchased new at $7,000 (est. value $42,000 valued in 2020 based off CPI and inflation calculations). Driving along the Darren Lockyer way Hwy towards Brisbane, 50Km ...east of Toowoomba, looking up into the jagged hills of the Minden range, the keen eye of a ford enthusiast or a classic car flipper could catch a fleeting moment of a true diamond in the rough. A Bathurst Phase 4 one of a kind, Burnt orange XA GT was parked up in an old leaning wooden shed that resembled a Chicken Coop, next to a typical 1950s modest Australian weatherboard farmhouse. Without any control, the Ford devotee would immediately chuck a u-ey and drive up the driveway and knock on the door and without any hesitation chat to the friendly owner and try and woo him into handing over the barn bomb. The excited car Buffs, with their silver tongues moving faster than Dicky Johnsons Green Tuff XE down conrod straight, would try to convince him into accepting an incredible offer by relieving him of the burden and take the Clunker car off his hands. To add to this incredible story, the car tragic would show incredible generosity of throwing a few thousand dollars the way of the owner to sweeten the deal. However, the naive car buff would not see the booby trap set, unbeknown to him, the owner was actually a diehard Ford nut himself and would for fun use the XA Falcon as bait for unsuspecting prey to fall into the snare so he could to talk about cars for hours and hours, about all things Australian muscle cars. Eventually, the recently educated car opportunists would be able leave their new found friend, minus a car but with a deeper appreciation of Ford XA Australia Muscle cars and factory polished Jelly Been Mag wheels! Question how do I know this? Well this story was told to me 20 years ago by 2 naive ford tragics, my brother Jamie Farmer and his best mate Rick Mcgavigan
