06.01.2022 Energy West Social Club are seeking Expressions of Interest for the role of contract Caretaker for 2 Holiday Homes in Albany. Ideally, this position would suit a couple living in the area Duties will include: * Key exchanges (30-minute property and 30-minute minor clean, after each member leaves) * Additional Cleaning (scheduled and ad-hoc)... * General internal and external property maintenance * Gardening and Lawn mowing if willing (this may be outsourced if required) * Assist with entry to properties with suppliers as required. The position would be ideally suited to a couple who: * Can be on call for emergency call outs only which may include maintenance * Can provide an ABN (mandatory) * Have attention to detail * Can provide great customer service * Can work unsupervised Other Information * Pay rate is $27.50 per hour for all duties, except * If a member books a paid clean which is paid to the Caretaker at $70 for 2 hours * Members can check in and out any day of the week and can book a minimum of 2 nights and a maximum of 14 nights, except School Holiday Periods in which the bookings are a Saturday to a Saturday for 7 nights Requirements * Are permanent residents of the region * Must have work rights in Australia NOTE: THIS IS NOT A LIVE IN POSITION, Caretaker/s must have their own accommodation Please forward a cover letter providing details of your cleaning, repairs and maintenance skills, resumes and plus 2 work references. Alternatively, if you are a contractor please provide a history of your business and 4 customers that are willing to provide references to [email protected] Successful applicant will be required to produce a Police Clearance no older than 6 months.

06.01.2022 Last Saturday, the EWSC office team was fortunate to attend the Crowns Astral Ballroom, for Clubs WAs prestigious Awards for Excellence night. We were very privileged to have been nominated for two awards out of 500+ WA Clubs. We joined a select few clubs in making the finalists for the Best Members Event (Medium) and the Club Marketing Award (Medium/Large). Even though this year we did not take away any awards we thoroughly appreciated the opportunity to attend and repres...ent the Energy West Social Club. We were joined by several prestigious guests, including government officials the Hon. Paul Papalia CSC MLA and the Hon. Michelle Roberts MLA and our MC for the night was none other than the ABC Grandstands Clint Wheeldon who did a great job entertaining us all whilst we made our way through 3 delicious courses. We also celebrated the night alongside other energy industry representatives and sponsors like Trans Tasman Energy Group, and a wide range of other sponsors including the Government of Western Australia Road Safely Commission. It was great to be a part of night and acknowledge the role of not only Clubs WA but also many diverse clubs in the WA community, as well as celebrate as a team our achievements for the past year.
