05.01.2022 A review worth reading!! "We had our system installed a few months back but I wanted to get an idea on actual savings and system performance in order to give a good honest review. Brendan and the team had exceptional customer service and patience through the whole process. We worked through a few different system options and I chopped and changed my mind a few times about going ahead with the install. Brendan never pushed or pressured me at any point.... We ended up purchasing a 7kw LG panel system with a 6kw SMA inverter. We also optioned a smart meter, had a meter relocation carried out, a sub board installed and a generator change over switch installed(All at a very reasonable price given some other quotes I received for the extra work). The installation was quick and smooth and the guys attention to detail was spot on. They communicated any changes or decisions that needed to be made directly and gave clear choices. Brendans estimates on savings were modest given our true savings. We have literally halved our bills over the last few winter months. This is both due to the system and us using our power more wisely during day light ours. We will obviously use more power through the summer months but the solar system will also generate more. We have generated a best daily yield generation just shy of 40KWH in the previous winter months. Its only getting better as we head towards summer. The SMA inverter Sunny Portal is easy to navigate and gives a great idea of system performance. It does drop out occasionally when trying to monitor current generation and usage(smart meter required) but comes back with a log out and back in refresh. All in all we are very happy with the system, the service and most importantly the savings. It will still be a few years before we break even on the system but given the warranty on the panels and inverter I am not too concerned. Lets face it, power isn’t going to get any cheaper!
