09.01.2022 One of our very own making a difference! Employee Sam Karas is about to set off this Saturday on a gruelling 24 hour 200km bike ride in honour of his father George Karas. When asked what inspired him, Sam had the following to say - ... As a lot of you may know my dad George Karas has recently recovered from a very rare type of leukaemia. He spent a whole year in and out of hospital for treatments and months in Melbourne at the Peter Mac Cancer Centre for Bone Marrow replacement treatment. Without the amazing work by the Peter Mac Centre, and all the support from his family and friends in that time, he might not of still been with us. I’ve joined this cause to hopefully raise some money and do my bit to support this great place that helps so many people.
