21.01.2022 Hi All It goes without saying this is a crazy time and very hard to know what life decisions to make regarding COVID 19. Throughout my career and now as a business I take pride in the fact I maintain compliance and quality even when the customer or authorities are not looking. Bonafide compliance is a diminishing value in modern business, and this virus issue will test out the larger players in construction on that level.... When a business assesses risk there is always some level of morality to be considered. This is where many risk assessments fall short, anyone can crunch the numbers to achieve the factors they need but sometimes choose to turn a blind eye when it comes to the heart strings or gut feel. I have spoken to the Enerline team and we all agree on one thing: We service the most disadvantaged and ‘at risk’ people in the community We have older relatives and friends And we all know someone who is sick and may fall victim to either the virus or the fact the hospitals will be full when they need them most. Therefore, the risks are beyond control and Enerline will be ceasing general works immediately. We will be available for emergency maintenance work and will maintain a strict distancing controls and sanitary practices. We ask our customers to ensure you comply to our instructions if we need to visit your home during an emergency. Enerline will be maintaining the team for when things normalise. Maintaining capability is the key to return to work and make up lost opportunity. The only thing I ask of our customers is to support us in making this difficult decision and continue to support us in the future when the community is ready to get on with life. 12.01.2022 Update regarding COVID-19 and Enerline Construction Hi All Enerline Construction has resumed general project work under strict conditions and limited access to the public and clients.... Last week’s hiatus (I won’t say self-isolation, it scares too many people) was an opportunity for us to prepare both individually and as a work-group for the immediate health and living challenges we all face. As a group we are in a good space and ready to support you any way we can. The basis of our path forward to exceed the limits and recommendations set by the State Government. While each Enerline job is risk assessed, the following limits will be strictly applied to our services: We have 5 project work fronts which are not occupied by clients or public. The work fronts are large enough for two people to work together but with minimum distances. The minimum distance for our sites is 2.5m, unless impractical then PPE and hygiene principles are employed. PPE and hygiene products are available on all sites and in all vehicles. Site access will be secure prior to any work being carried out with visitors being invite only. Occupied dwellings will be asked to vacate for the duration of the tasks. Deliveries are being undertaken off site. Upon request, we will employ a third party to hygienically clean our work-spaces post task. Alternate work times to avoid unnecessary interaction, e.g. after hours. Thanks for your support and please keep your distance from us, pick up the phone to make an appointment, we will not entertain unnecessary interaction. Please stay vigilant and distanced. 08.01.2022 Thanks to all my new Facebook friends for the welcome in launching Enerline Construction. I have many people to thank for the support and advice during the last 18 months and will do so in due course. I joined Facebook to network and I very much appreciate your shares and likes and all the help in reaching out to those outside my usual circles. Enerline is now a team of four and it is time to step up the business presence. To do so we are bringing new ideas and options to th...e market, so keep an eye on us and feel free to get in touch. There have been loads of questions about Enerline, and they all boil down to one: Why are you doing it? Enerline is an opportunity to apply my experience and work history to forge a living at home in Port Augusta. Like any new business, it is borne of my day job and interests. The electrical trade opens many doors and I have enjoyed an extensive career across several sectors in the construction industry, which has afforded me the opportunity to work in a multi-trade capacity. Over the last 5 years I have managed construction works on all local renewable projects and have enjoyed living and working at home full time. Being a life-long contractor, the prospects of a new multi-trade construction service went into planning and Enerline Construction was incorporated. While Enerline is here to make a living, the feel-good stuff is worth sharing: We enjoy what we do, and it shows We exist as part of the communities we work in (good business gives back) We want to be inclusive and develop locals We want to use local suppliers and subcontractors Now you’ve got the warm and fuzzies, here is what you really want from your trade contractor: Every job scoped and quoted, with commitment Increased efficiency with multi-trade capability Credible compliance and quality Value for money Professional capability in project delivery, on any scale I don’t expect many of you to read this far unless you are contemplating spending your hard-earned. Keep an eye out for regular updates on products and services, particularly if you are interested in any residential and commercial services from basic electrical installs to projects with more complex multi-trade ideas.
