22.01.2022 The State Government has released a strict lockdown and updated health directives that will take effect from midnight tonight and will be in place for the next ...6 days. This is to minimise activity within our community to contain any further transmission of COVID-19. They are aiming to act quickly and go hard to ensure the cluster does not become widespread. SA Health have advised that people must work or stay at home as much as possible and only minimal operations are allowed to continue from PAE worksites. Our priority is ensuring the safety of our community, so we are doing whatever we can to support our most vulnerable, elderly and already isolated people in our community. The Civic Centre is closed All libraries are closed, and all programs temporarily suspended. All library return chutes will be closed, so please keep your items at home. All items on loan have been extended to 6 January 2021. Any items that you have on hold waiting to be picked up will be held for three weeks. All community centres, halls, the Lights Community and Sports Centre, LeFevre Community Stadium, other sport and recreation centres and sporting grounds are closed All community programs and groups have ceased temporarily The Visitor Information Centre is closed We have suspended our community bus service Our free bulk garden waste drop-off at IWS Wingfield is temporarily suspended Supply of compostable bags and caddies will be temporarily suspended Immunisation clinics are temporarily suspended Please do not visit public parks or playgrounds HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US?
