21.01.2022 Hi to all our gym, squash and swimming families, Thank you for your enquiries regarding our reopening. Unfortunately we can not at this time confirm a date when we can recommence, but this can change at any time. ... When indoor sporting facilities are given the go ahead by the government to re open we will look at the guidelines and restrictions to see if it is feasible for us to open straight away or at a later date. We will endeavour to keep you informed and provide updates here on social media as soon as we have them. 19.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Great News yesterday !! We will be working towards a Saturday June 13 opening as per the government’s announcement today. Apparently we will be given more details by the government on Friday, so we will have a better idea regarding our opening restrictions. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE........ Do you have any suggestions for our re-opening ? We have a lot to think about and to put in place, but this involves you too, our patrons. So please add your thoughts below. 15.01.2022 Thank you all for your understanding over the last couple of days regarding our electricity issues ! We lost power Friday afternoon during the rain, blackout ? No, further inspections found we have a short in the supply cabling in the ground. So short term we have a generator powering the centre. This week we plan to locate the short, dig it up, repair it, and get back to normal.... We would like to send a huge thank you to our neighbors, who, pre generator, let us run cables into the centre to enable the pool heater and pumps to operate for Saturday lessons. To the members who brought in portable speakers and music to keep classes running, thank you. To our neighbor who is looking after the ice cream freezer, thank you. To Engadine Bowling Club, who has let us put the generator in their back car park and enable us to keep our doors open..... we thank you, all of our squash playing, gym going members thank you, and all of our learn to swim families thank you !

15.01.2022 Again, we thank you regarding our power disruption. This week a "fault locator" found the position of the fusion underground (hopefully). So today we are "Prospecting" for the cables and depending on what is found, we aim to have cables repaired on Tuesday. (if all goes to plan)

Heres a little something, plans were afoot for a celebration this year.... Engadine Squash Centre turns 50 this year.... we had a big party at 45 years, so this one certainly should be better.... provided we can kick the virus ! ... Our celebration may have to be held next year, but we thought lets start gathering names, numbers, emails and text messages.
