There's a team which comprises mostly of our W6B 1's and they are looking for players as a couple of girls are now unable to play. If anyone is interested can you please contact Blake 0457030588. ID Cards are also available for collection Thursday night 8th April between 6.16pm and 7pm this applies to U10's and up. These are necessary to ensure the team is eligible to play on the weekend.... SSFA Sydney FC will be playing in their 4th consecutive A-League Grand Final this Sunday 11th April at Kogarah Oval. If you are free on Sunday and looking for something to do, I am looking for 12 girls (aged 13 and above) to be involved in the Grand Final pre match promotion. Girls will be required to hold a banner before kickoff, and then after that you can watch the match. You will need to be at Kogarah Oval at 2.30pm for rehearsal Match kickoff is at 4pm so you will be home by 7.00pm ! All trial/practice games scheduled for Anzac for the the weekend of 27th/28th march are cancelled due to the recent wet weather. Games scheduled for Dobell Rd are still on at this stage. 08.01.2022 ATTENTION NURSERY SQUAD At the moment the club is looking for a volunteer to coordinate the running of the Nursery Squad for the 2021 season. Unfortunately, as a club/committee there are too many that are involved in Playing/Coaching/Managing on a Sunday. We do utilise the younger girls or boys to assist with the running where they can run the drills, workstations and games. Therefore the main role will be coordinating this and ensuring we have an adult running the session. U...nless we get a volunteer we will be unable to run the Nursery Squad in 2021. Once we have a volunteer we will then start to accept Registrations for the 2021 season. These would normally begin from the 8th January as per normal registrations. However, this will be delayed until we have a volunteer. A single call was ma...de to Bob and Ben the Tree Men & they dropped everything and were there within 30 mins! 01.01.2022 Due to the recent rain event and the forecast for further rainfall, all Sutherland Shire Council turf playing fields will be closed Friday 26 March to Sunday 28 March 2021 inclusive. This confirms that there will be no trial/practice games at Anzac this weekend. Also, games scheduled for Dobell Rd are now cancelled.... As last weeks Working Bee was cancelled due to rain it has now been rescheduled for this Sunday 28th March starting at 8am. Come along and assist, this is a time when we prepare the fields for the season ahead.
