25.01.2022 A few weeks back the Kennedy family attended the Breakfast of Champions and represented ETC. The interclub series was well received by club members, and we are very much looking to the new format this coming season. ETC finished 7th in the Sydney South West division. The 2019/2020 format has us Sydney Triathlon League 1, and hopefully some great races of various distances to compete in.... Entries are now open for the first four rounds: Hills Tri Club Duathlon: https://bit.ly/2WqKrrm Berry Duathlon: https://bit.ly/2WyInO8 Nepean Triathlon: https://bit.ly/2K2rynS Kurnell Sprint Series Race 1: https://bit.ly/2WyICJ2

23.01.2022 Another fantastic weekend away in Orange racing in the TriNSW Club Champs. A smaller contingent of ETC members this year, but we ensured that size doesn't matter - and had a great time doing it. The change to the duathlon suited some, and saw others struggle with the extra running. Our club placed 7th in Division 3.... Congrats to the following members who raced Jnr 7-9 Dominic - 11:55 Harrison - 12:43 Half Club Distance Sonja - 1:41:59 Full Distance Jay - 1:45:12 Rachel - 2:10:19 Adam - 2:10:23 Kim - 2:24:53 Ellen - 2:26:24 Helen - 2:49:48 Unfortunately Mal had to withdraw from the event mid run due to knee pain. Thanks to our amazing support crew who acted as a cheer squad and photographers Michelle, Benji, Eddie and Stephen. More pics to follow :)

23.01.2022 Merry Christmas from the ETC crew.

22.01.2022 Sunday saw the end to the 18/19 triathlon season for ETC. 2 members journeyed north to Cairns. Laurel raced the Ironman, once again dominating on course. Laurel finished 3rd in her age group and secured a hard fought and long awaited Kona slot. She crossed the line in 11:52:00.... Maddy competed in the 70.3, her first at this distance! She crossed the line in 6:24:17. Well done ladies. We had a great time tracking you from back home!

20.01.2022 Port Macquarie Ironman Weekend Wrap up What an amazing time away in Port Macquarie for the 70.3 Ironman and Ironman Australia. A crew of ETC members raced and were supported throughout the weekend by our lovely family and friends.... Laurel took on her 5th Ironman Australia, placing 3rd in her age group. Congratulations Laurel, what an amazing achievement. Not only is it impressive to place in your category, but to have completed Ironman in Port 5 times! Well Done. Laurel Rogers - 11:18:11 A number of ETC members (and 'almost members' - yes Ethan, i'm talking about you ) raced in the 70.3 event. Jen raced through the course so quickly there is no photographic evidence of her on course. She placed 3rd in her age group. Well done Jenny! Jenny Henville - 5:40:00 Lots of other people out on course for the 70.3 with a number of first timers stepping out. The Tudjman's kept it in the family with Ethan and Ellen both having a crack (their words were something about pooping bricks ?!?) and racing alongside Kim. Stephen took a backseat this year spectating, counselling, mentoring and ensuring every ETC member got their finishers medal when they crossed the line. The weekend didn't go as planned for all athletes with Jay having to pull out early on in the bike. Didn't stop him from recovering and then going out to smash a new PB for a half marathon - making it look far to easy as well. Ethan Tudjman - 6:03:15 Leigh Gilbert - 6:05:11 Rachel Kennedy - 6:05:26 Ellen Tudjman - 6:14:53 Johanna Southwell - 6:41:27 Kim Tudjman - 6:43:55 Jordan participated in the Bright Night Run and was a supporters dream staying out on course till all hours cheering home the last of the Ironman athletes. We were so fortunate to have some fantastic spectators out on course, beautiful weather and whilst we didn't all escape injury free we all had a blast. Bring on 2020!!!

19.01.2022 Laurel Rogers you are an Ironman. A Hawaiian Ironman. Congratulations on tackling Kona and smashing it in 12:11:15. What a legend!

18.01.2022 A fantastic day down at Batemans Bay for the triathlon last Saturdy. Congratulations to ETC members who swam (and walked...) in some interesting swim conditions, cycled into an increasingly tough headwind and ran with the sun beaming down. A special congrats to all the ladies in the ultimate for bringing home the bling! Standard... Mathew Ayoub - 2:46:57 Aquabike Helen Maynard-Casely - 3:04:25 Ultimate Jay Kennedy - 3:30:57 Laurel Rogers (1) - 3:44:36 Rachel Kennedy (1) - 3:53:46 Leigh Gilbert (1) - 4:07:19 Jordan Aitken (3) - 5:05:24

13.01.2022 The race to put our helmets on the fastest. Expecting big things from Helen in all transitions now!!!

08.01.2022 Was wonderful to catch up with everyone yesterday. After a run or MBT along Lady Carrington we enjoyed a BBQ and a surprise visit from the man of the month. How did Santa know where to find us all? The kids being good aspiring athletes asked Santa for new goggles. Tudj the marathon man asked Santa for more plane tickets...not sure how successful he'll be with that Christmas wish

07.01.2022 Kona was calling and Laurel answered. WELL DONE!!! We're all so proud of you

06.01.2022 Last Saturday we had the pleasure of a skills session with Triathlon guru Mick Delamotte. Mick took us through various skills and techniques needed to improve our racing. We had a great morning!

05.01.2022 It's been a busy month for ETC members and friends in the lead up to this weekends Ironman. A small contingent ventured north and braved the rain and mosquito plague to compete at Forster. Members participated in both the Ultimate and Club distances. Ultimate (2/60/15)... Jay - 3:48:14 Rachel - 5:12:54 (DNF with an unrepairable flat, finish time still recorded thanks to a stubborn desire to go and complete the run) Club (1/30/7.3) Madeline - 2:03:54 (2nd in AG) Sprint (750/20/5) Dane - 1:25:31 (Completing his first triathlon on his birthday!!! What dedication!) Wollongong was next up on the radar with athletes completing the Standard distance race in absolutely beautiful weather. Jay - 2:18:32 Rachel - 2:33:37 Madeline - 2:39:55 (1st in AG) Helen - 3:07:10 (1st Athena) Well done to everyone and best of luck to all those heading north to Port Macquarie this weekend. 05.01.2022 Well done to all those ETC members who either raced or spectated down at the Australia Day Aquathon in Wollongong. Would not have been an easy race with the humidity. Congrats team, and we hope you're all enjoying your Australia Day doing something outdoors! Ethan Tudjman - 55:04 Ian Manley - 59:35 Ellen Tudjman - 1:01:31... Congratulations to the following Cadbury Marathoners Kim Tudjman - 4:26:16... It's always hard work racing in January and you guys nailed it!

01.01.2022 The Engadine Triathlon Club Dingoes had just five points after five rounds last year and still managed to finish seventh overall in the Sydney South West and e...arn a place in Sydney Triathlon League 1 for Interclub 02. They finished in seriously impressive form and if they can maintain it during the winter months, anything is possible for the Dingoes in Interclub 02.
