19.01.2022 Parivrtta Anjaneyasana Knee On The Floor (Revolved Low Lunge Pose Knee On The Floor) actively involves the hip flexors with a focus on opening and stretching the muscles of the back. Acting as a twist, this variation massages the abdominal area stretching and simultaneously contracting both sides of the spine. Pushing the hips down helps with a deeper stretch of the gluteus maximus muscles and upper hamstring muscles.... The twisting and raising of the arm helps with opening the chest and the muscles of the entire back.
