24.01.2022 We spent the morning celebrating International Women’s Day by listening to some inspiring stories from the university’s incredible Women in STEM. We are so privileged to be surrounded by the most ambitious, accomplished, and supportive women here at the School of Engineering. Today, and every day, we are committed to promoting healthy discussion and taking positive action to address the challenges women face in the workforce. 24.01.2022 Gearing up for an exciting year! After 3 months of hard work and planning, the MQ Automotive Society hosted their first Track Day at Luddenham Raceway over the weekend. Attendees spent an entire week outside the 44WTR workshop installing new performance parts and servicing their cars in preparation for the day. An enormous team effort! The day itself went off without a hitch. Not even the bad weather could put a damper on things. The day consisted of cars sliding around in th...e rain, setting impressive lap times & a buzz of excitement that did not wane for the entirety of the 8 hours.
