18.01.2022 So things have been so busy in the shop recently that I am playing catchup on my posts Here is a customer from Darwin's 7age 1950cc motor This has a great list of parts including kelford cams, billet crank, block girdle, extended sump,oversize valves,4age st20v pump, custom modified TRD head gasket and my custom 1/2inch head stud conversion plus much more ... 14.01.2022 Update!!!! The ATI harmonic damper for the 4age fits very well on my personal bt20v with rwd water pump with water snout from Rs-chitta and an OEM rwd alternator and bracket Here is a photo of the trail fit up

14.01.2022 Here is a quick few videos of the sr20ve cycling with all 4 pistons and rods all fitted up In this video I have spacers on the main caps for easy access to the rods The first step is to assemble with crank only and install the oil pump (dry) and check for lash then remove oil pump and girdle, refit small billet alloy spacers then 1 piston and rod at a time checking for any tight spots ... Gtir bearings where used for better oil supply to the bigend bearings with a groove cut into the main All parts are brand new including the oil squirters

11.01.2022 Head is now on and tensioned down What started as a blown 4age 20v with damaged B/E bearing and a short motor 7A has now come together to make the 7age 20v almost ready to start making some noise The copper head gasket had to be drilled for correct water feeds from the block to head in a 20v application made to suit RWD ... 10.01.2022 Update to the MT performance drag car New batch of sensors to add to the list with a new autosport harness constructed my myself and Angus at #prosportelectrics A bosch DBW throttle body was added to the intercooler for a boost bleed to stage perfect boost control at launch and it is also an electric bov ... Fabwork was completed by Adam #weldspeed Adam has always been able to fit my jobs in and I can't thank him enough Car is getting close now

10.01.2022 VIDEO TIME Here is the sr20ve on the test stand getting oil pressure for the first time before it goes into the chassis In the 3 videos I show ... 1.the test rig itself 2.the oil pressure on cranking 3.the vvl latches locking in with some temporary wiring to the solonoid (it latches in and out but this is me testing the reaction of the time delay of the latching process) Next I will test compression with the gauge for cylinder pressure with vvl and without to see the difference in pressure And finally I will test leak down completely cold on an engine that has not even been run in this will give me a baseline on leakage before and after run in but my engines seem to have perfect seal from day 1 For high performance engine and cylinder head builds contact the page and we can get it done first time correctly

07.01.2022 Today was a good day I spent some more time on the sr20ve and trail fitted the turbo and intake manifolds I also fitted up the flywheel and starter motor with oil lines to do my oil pressure testing and comp tests on the stand before it even leaves the shed This is how motors should be built removing all doubt that it's not going to fail when sent off to the customers
