25.01.2022 Please don’t buy a breeding pair, it’s not good!
25.01.2022 Nice job by the team at KD Custom Prints. Something for the early morning coffee/tea for the Farm Team
24.01.2022 Brush turkeys, need to be stared at. And Borked at if needed.
24.01.2022 When the view from your new car port/entertainment area is better than from the house.
23.01.2022 I asked them to not come through the gate...that lasted about 4 seconds...
23.01.2022 Had so many plans, finish mowing, clean paddocks, health check alpacas, washing, move some fences, plant out seedlings. Instead we get study of alpaca in the rain (Damp, injected, drenched, skin checked Jilli-Ann)
23.01.2022 Pippa has had another run in with something (possibly barbed wire). She has had a laceration closed and is sleeping off all the drugs, she is also very patriotic.
22.01.2022 Its time. Shearing is happening on Saturday afternoon. We would love some extra hands if anyone wants a help.
22.01.2022 It would be a beautiful sunset if it werent for the fact that it is a result of a fire 11km away. .....and so it begins, fire season
22.01.2022 The new carport/entertainment area or stick henge. Pretty good view from the scaffolding.
22.01.2022 The view from the new car port. We may have to make it a picnic spot too.
21.01.2022 Not quite right thats how we choose to describe Frankie (cat) & Benny (dog). Judge for yourself
21.01.2022 The sun is out and Coco still likes milk.
21.01.2022 There are days that we dont get on but most of the time I love this grumpy, naughty, loving boy....(sarah)
20.01.2022 After an aborted attempt yesterday to return to the herd. (Just a bit too weak to defend herself). She ran down to them and had a good sniffing. Then the legs got wobbly and she had to sit down. We now know she can stand when she needs, run and spit at her nemesis Winny. Left to right Kalarie, Naomi, Tippy, Coco, Winny, Lani, Jilli-Anna and the bums of Montana and Cali.
19.01.2022 Its like working...only different. Slowly but surely things are taking shape. Puts the world in perspective...our world at least.
19.01.2022 Dogs just checking out the new ute.
18.01.2022 Social Isolation project #371. Training a mule . Methinks hes done this before. Nice work Sarah & Mr Murphy & Deb

17.01.2022 New training win. Pippa can talk on command.
16.01.2022 Thwarted by a ladder.
16.01.2022 Sorting some fleece in the mammoth tidy up and finding a Doug under my pile.
15.01.2022 When you have paralysis of your right back leg because of a tick and you have a drip in your neck, you get your own food. Apparently starving!
15.01.2022 We have never seen her do it before and I dont think she will again. Lani sitting for pats.
14.01.2022 24hrs in our world is bit different to most. Both work a shift in ED, one comes home & goes to a Firecall, the other comes home & feeds/waters the team. Sleep for a couple of hours to wake up to a tree blocking the cattle grid to the house (pic is after moving it).....so tired. The boss heads off to another ED shift while I potter with trees & bits. Then tonight we find Coco down with a tick & off to our wonderful friends at Maleny Vets ( ps bloody legends) Now sitting in the dark with Coco hoping the drugs all work while Sarah is still at work.....and yet we still wouldn’t swap this life for anything. A big shout out to the vets & Shane without who we couldn’t keep this going
14.01.2022 So the roof is on, we are all tired and sore, but very pleased! It was windy and a tiny bit of rain. Dogs didnt help at all! The new carport/entertainment area will need to have its head wetted soon.
13.01.2022 Thats a wrap: 2020 shearing done. Massive thanks to Shane, Jo, Julian & of course Snowy who left Victoria a month early to be able to look after us all......and a big big thanks Lee & family for the pizzas to end the day
11.01.2022 She just gets a bit weirder everyday.
10.01.2022 Always good to see the ones you are worried about head down in a bucket of food.
10.01.2022 Is it that we are healthcare professionals or farmers, that means I didnt think twice about putting poo samples on the dinning table.
10.01.2022 One of those evenings when you have to count how many guinea fowl. Looks like we need some more is anyone knows any guinea or peacocks that need a home.
09.01.2022 Its always nice to have help on the farm. This morning I was joined by Steve at the computer. Quite active but not very helpful.
09.01.2022 Just a sun setting over the hills.
09.01.2022 It may not be the best photo, but it is the best feeling. Say hi to Nadal & Lauchie....they share our Happy Place
08.01.2022 Steve is almost too mobile today....and definitely angry about something
07.01.2022 Sometimes I forget Pippa is 6, she plays and runs with her little brother, but some day she is worn out. This morning I told them to find their own toys scattered around the property, instead of me entertaining them. She sat down in the sun while Ben went exploring.
06.01.2022 Some days you just find your adoptive sister AKA Princess Pointy Toes, very confusing.
06.01.2022 Things to do on a wet Thursday afternoon....chase a mule & a pony around the property.....who let the equines out, who, who
05.01.2022 We try to have happy, funny, positive posts but this week Scot and I are sad as beautiful Naomi had a still birth. Her last cria also didnt make it, this is her with Rockie her first baby and now a proud stud male. She has pinned for her baby and its been heart breaking. We are only a little farm with a tiny herd so every loss is hard. I am watching her like a hawk for any complications and fingers crossed she will be okay soon.
04.01.2022 Just move a plastic tub to sit on, and this guy came out. A Bandi bandi. Then an eastern grey hopped past, we don’t have many kangaroos up with us, normally pretty face wallabies. He was too fast for pictures.
04.01.2022 Three amigos and The Rockstar.
04.01.2022 Jilli-Anne the ever defiant, angry alpaca.
04.01.2022 This is why our guys are not treated like pets, a male chest charged me once, and now I know how they kill wild dogs.
04.01.2022 The view from the scaffolding is pretty good, going to have to clear the hill behind as a seating area now!
03.01.2022 Just relaxing with some tunes.
03.01.2022 Best fertiliser in the world
02.01.2022 When there is only one sun spot, you have to share.
02.01.2022 When your favorite human has been at work all week, the rules about where in the house you can go, no longer apply.
01.01.2022 A bit more work on the carport/entertainment area today. Someone wasnt real happy with what she was allowed to do.
01.01.2022 Time for afternoon feeding and some introductions. Normally I know who everyone is...this afternoon the sun was in my eyes. The first brown girl is a actually Twiggy, not Tippy and the first Rosie/Emma is Rosie....and the second Rosie/Emma is Emma
