22.01.2022 Just a quick update after yesterday's announcement around the easing of Melbourne’s COVID restrictions. We find ourselves in a very familiar position, as yet there has been no official statement around the status of driving lessons. Previous experience suggests that the DHHS website should have an updated reference to driving lessons shortly, we are hopeful that this occurs within the next 24 - 48 hrs.

19.01.2022 We are yet to find any official written guidance around the status of driving lessons under ‘step 2’ of metro Melbourne's roadmap to reopening. The various government websites have not yet been updated from the previous ‘step 1’ guidance. We have however found a quote attributed to the Victorian Premier in the last 24 hrs, if this quote has been reported accurately in the media then it would appear that driving lessons will not be allowed under step 2, unless an exemption has... been provided.
