21.01.2022 Central Highlands is currently updating our waiting list, unfortunately we are finding that many of those on our list are no longer requiring care due to the time they have been waiting. If you currently on our list for care, please contact the coordination unit to update your details and care requirements, our waitlist will be archived in the coming weeks and only updated waitlist inquires will be maintained. We currently have available vacancies on a Tuesday and Thursday with one of our experienced educators and we have a new (But experienced) educator starting with our service late November. As we are coming to the end of another year, we often see vacancies coming available for the new year. Our office hours are Mon to Tues 8am to 3pm, if our staff are unavailable please leave a message and they will return your call.

16.01.2022 Congratulations to our Enhance Educator, Miss Cherie's Family Day Care, who was recently announced as the Regional Educator Award winner in the Family Day Care Australia Excellence Awards! Cherie has 10 years experience delivering exceptional kindergarten programmes which she applies to offer personalised, child-centered play-based education through her family day care service. It is wonderful to see Cherie rewarded for her devotion and dedication to the children in her care. Congratulations Cherie on this enormous achievement!

12.01.2022 Today we acknowledge Day for Daniel as the largest day of action to raise awareness of child safety, protection and harm prevention. Day for Daniel honours the memory of Daniel Morcombe through this year's theme: Wear Red, Educate and Donate. Parents, carers and Educators are encouraged to start a conversation with children and young people about personal safety and raise awareness of child safety issues. 10.01.2022 Centacare CQ is running two PARENT 1-2-3 Magic and Emotion Coaching Courses in March 2021. 1-2-3 Magic consists of three, two hour sessions run over three weeks. The program focuses on managing difficult behaviors in children 2-12. ... There is both an evening and daytime program. Please see the attached flyer for further details.
