25.01.2022 Lip filler correction. This lovely lady came to me for advice after having lip filler elsewhere and not being entirely happy with the results and wanting to have the filler dissolved. She presented with migrating filler above the top lip and a heaviness that pushed the outer aspect of her top lip downwards (see top photo). So we dissolved the top lip, then waited 3 weeks to assess the results (see middle photo) At 3 weeks we did the tiniest of touch ups with dermal filler ...to the top left lip to fix a little asymmetry (bottom photo after top up). Dermal filler dissolving starts from $80. Price is dependent on area to be treated. It is also very helpful if you know the product that has been used previously. Consultations are free. This is why I provide all patients with a complimentary follow up review appointments 2-3 weeks after treatment. It is at this point that we can add a little top up if needed.

16.01.2022 After an amazing 3 years doing treatments at Jimboomba every Monday, I have made the very hard decision to now only work from my Beenleigh clinic. I’m feeling very excited about the new treatments and services that we’ll be introducing this year. 14.01.2022 I often get asked if I treat noses or frown lines with filler. The short answer is no. These areas along with forehead and temples are higher risk areas for filler treatments. Every filler treatment has risks. Some can be very serious but thankfully they are rare. Filler treatments are medical procedures that you must be educated about, consented for and ultimately accept the possible risks for treatment. It is my job to ensure that you understand fully the possible resul...ts, outcomes, side effects and risks. All medical professionals must work within their scope of practice. This means that as a RN I am responsible for knowing my level of knowledge and experience and treat my patients accordingly. Because these types of treatments carry a higher risk, I choose not to offer them. The good news is I know of practitioners that I can refer you to if you are considering these type of treatments. 14.01.2022 You may notice in your appointment reminders that your booked appointment time seems longer than you normally would've booked pre Covid19. Don't be concerned as your treatments will still take the same amount of time, however I am booking out an extra 15 minutes at least in order to allow extra time for cleaning etc between appointments. This also means there are less appointments available each day so book ahead so as not to miss out xx

08.01.2022 PDO Threads results at 6 weeks. We've tried a few different filler treatments over the years for this lovely lady's accordion lines. This area is difficult to treat with filler as we really don't want to add too much extra volume and actually make the area look heavier.
