23.01.2022 I think we all used to scull a scoop of protein straight after our workouts to make sure we were still in the anabolic window in order to reap "all the gainz" Whilst nutrient timing can play an effect on performance, (especially the quality and choices of foods) you won't miss your opportunity for muscle growth if you don't consume your protein shake or post workout meal within 30 minutes after a session... ... It would be ideal to consume your post workout meal between 30-90 minutes after a workout however, if you are consuming enough protein in your day and the right amount of food for your goals, you don't have to be overly stressed trying to get home and eat a meal. 12.01.2022 Hands up if you're still sore from last week I decided to write out a few points on why you may be sore after a workout as a lot of the time, people mistake this as the only indicator of a successful workout. SWIPE AND READ... Aiming to be sore after every workout wouldn't be the greatest goal to work towards in the gym as that would require even more days off to recover and possibly overloading your CNS (central nervous system) Instead of focusing on doing as many leg and booty exercises as you can in the gym. Try to focus on less exercises and more quality movements that are actually helping you towards your goals. We are all about smart programming and intentional workouts.
