11.01.2022 FLINDERS HOSPITAL - WARD 5D CHAIR PROJECT We recently were able to purchase 25 brand new visitor chairs fro Ward 5D at Flinders Medical Centre. Here is an email from Nursing Unit Manger expressing gratitude to all who made this possible: ----------------------------------------------------------... Hi Josh and all the wonderful people that make up Enjoy Church Adelaide! I just wanted to pass on a MASSIVE thank you from the whole team on 5D for the amazing chairs you have provided for our patients and visitors. It can be hard to understand how helpful a humble chair can be; but having something nice, new, and safe for patients and loved ones to use when they are going through a difficult time can make a world of difference. As nurses we are thrilled to have chairs that STACK (this is a big deal for us) so we have more room to do the work we really care about. A massive thank you especially to Monique (legend) for taking charge and organising them as well, we all feel extremely blessed by you. Thank you for the great work you are doing to help our community! With warmest thanks, Tim Timothy Hulsinga Nurse Unit Manager Ward 5D Surgical Short Stay Division of Surgery and Perioperative Medicine Flinders Medical Centre SA Health Government of South Australia

10.01.2022 Josh Brett from Enjoy Communities has today visited Kangaroo Island where the bushfires have caused so much devastation to life, land, wildlife and property. The work on the ground from the Army Reserves through to the CFS is nothing short of heroic. A lot has been lost but so much has been saved by their efforts. Right now the Island has kicked into relief mode and this will continue for quite some time but the repair and rebuild will happen. Aussies are resilient and we k...now how to help our own. Whatever you can do to help, whether large or small, is so important to the relief efforts. There is a real need for approx. 60 generators right now for those who have lost properties. For $500 each we can purchase these generators and fuel. We are now working on providing these generators in partnership with Island Care who have been meeting the practical needs of locals for over 17 years. Account details: BANK: Westpac BSB: 035213 ACC: 369258. All donations are tax deductible. For more information please message us. Thank you for your partnership.
