Originally from France, the Charrère family moved in the mid-1700s to what is now the Aosta Valley of Italy. Les Crêtes has long since conquered a firm place in the Italian wine elite. 04.01.2022 Taking the opportunity of tasting these two lovely wines before showing them , the strohmeier indigo is feom 2013 and made from the rare Schilcher grape which is very astringe and high in acid when young , with age this has turned into a beautiful balanced wine while still showing all the 'wild ' characters of this variety .
